It's very precise, and you have to space out your attacks well enough to where you don't him too early (hit doesn't go through), or too late (he blocks). It took me awhile to get this down and I barely finished runs with it. I don't really have a good strat, I just got a feel for it and threw myself at it.

@@aluigiFromKart I use easy in this run. In Any% No OoB, I use hard because of better CPU positions. Every other category I use easy

@TheLemonyBard once the other curtain calls get in a championship, all if not, most of them will be utilizing wall jumps. You can't really get P Speed (except Lemmy) like here since none of the fights are on flat ground

Hey Scott. The most important thing to note is to not jump as soon as possible, and also to do a good turnaround after your jump. Because the fairy's hitbox slightly moves down and up, you want to wait about .2 before actually jumping. It's hard to exactly time it, but in this run, I jump when the timer hits .26, and immediately after I switch to holding left and jump. That's it pretty much. If you don't get a .51 on your attempt with this strat, you're most likely losing time from your jump being too late or your turnaround not being fast enough.

Yes, you can buffer Start (basically holding it as you cross the finish line), so that the pause screen appears on the first frame of the victory screen. That way I go to retire and save time from not having to watch it.
