I don't like foretell at all. Exiling something face down makes you look VERY suspicious and in the case of Saw It Coming it would cost more mana to first place it in exile and then pop it from exile. Why would I pay 4 mana to pop an instant from exile when I can pay 3 mana to pop it from my hand?

Personally Fortell has never been a mechanic I have ever been drawn to myself. We are interested in seeing what decks and strategies that people come up with though.

I've used Skull Raid in the past, which is 3 neutral 1 black normally, and with foretell is still 4 mana total. Foretelling lets me potentially play it turn 3, or can protect it if my opponent is also playing a lot of discard cards. I've also gone longer games where I don't want to use it yet, but I have extra mana end of turn anyway, so foretelling ends up being more efficient. Sometimes you may also want to have your opponent concerned about your foretold card, cause you might get them to counter it or play sub-optimally, letting you play another card they didn't expect.

Everyone gets into their own thing. We personally do more magic but we see this as a great intro to the concepts of TCGs to children or less experienced players. Much like Pokemon!
