Hello Sir, I Visited your KZbin channel and noticed it ranks lower than others. SEO seems to be lacking, though your content is fantastic . Wondering why your videos aren't attracting more views? One key factor is insufficient SEO . that's why your video is not reaching out to the people and you do not have many subscribers, likes, watch time, and comments. I also noticed that your video thumbnail was good. If you'd like, I can assist you with improving it. I think your KZbin channel will make your dream come true.

Hello what does this mean on echo test, thank you • The inferior vena cava is small and collapsed consistent with low right atrial pressure.
@JeffKeyte3 ай бұрын
Without knowing anything else, low atrial pressure and collapsed IVC suggests that the patient's fluid volume is low or there is a barrier to blood flow return through the IVC.

What is the difference between right atrial filling pressure and right atrial pressure
@JeffKeyte3 ай бұрын
I'm slow to answer - sorry. There isn't a difference in the terms. Atrial pressure is just that.
@zuhairali053 ай бұрын
@@JeffKeyte I know, but the teaching staff at my university have assigned right atrial filling pressure to the gradient between systemic filling pressure and right atrial pressure. I told them that right atrial filling pressure is the right atrial pressure during filling period but nobody agrees

@@zuhairali05 Odd place to draw an imaginary line. If you were going to redesign the human, you might put a low pressure valve at the IVC/RA and SVC/RA junctions, but that isn't what we've got. Best of luck.

Lipids are not polymers
@JeffKeyte8 ай бұрын
Agreed, not technically. Triglycerides are three fatty acids on a glycerol backbone, so 3x "building block molecules" stuck together. The goal it to point out the large molecule -> building block molecule processes of digestion.
@a.FlagrantVagrant8 ай бұрын
@@JeffKeyte But the goal should be to teach correct information. Lipids lack the characteristic repeating monomer unit. Although there is always one glycerol, the number of fatty acids varies. Therefore, the unique "starter" molecule is different from the subunits. Each fatty acid joins to one glycerol molecule, rather than to each other. Also, separate lipid molecules are not held together by covalent bonds. There are ester bonds between the fatty acids and glycerol backbone. Lastly, you might want to double check the any textbook. The textbooks teach that lipids are not polymers. No reason for students to get that question wrong. I know many students who've had that question on exams - not just in chemistry, either.

@@a.FlagrantVagrant Thank you for your input. This was a review, so there were no points lost. My exam questions are much more difficult than the questions in this review. It seems you have a good sense of this topic - please continue to teach others.
@a.FlagrantVagrant8 ай бұрын
@@JeffKeyte Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'm not talking about the review for just your students, I'm talking about preparing any student who watched or watches this - because it's a public video. But, if your exams are "much more difficult," you'd probably be of service to be more definitive in your review. Anyway, it's a necessity to thoroughly understand these concepts so students can perform well on tests and more importantly, be successful in life. As a general service to all those who are learning, we have a responsibility to be accurate. Perhaps your institution should consider using Pearson's study modules. They provide clear, decisive questions and information. I hope you can come to place where you can consider updating your video in service of teaching...and making corrections rather than talking about how difficult your exams are.

@a.FlagrantVagrant My options are to take this video down because of a few inaccurate minutes, or leave it up for the many other viewers who have found it useful to them. What would you prefer I do? The video you are referring to is VERY old. It is only still posted because people asked me to put it back up when I took it down earlier this year. My new videos can be found here: kzbin.info/door/MNBQXnBz6F6t2nl-6a5JjQ They are cleaner and more polished, and perhaps up to your educational standards.

I think it is also true that dysfunctional epithelial barrier will release inflammatory cytokines, potentially leading to MODS and issues with tight junctions lead to increased gut permeability and risk of infection????
@JeffKeyte8 ай бұрын
Agreed - pathology affecting the epithelial barrier tight junctions would cause problems with unregulated permeability and translocation of bacteria (particularly if the immune system is challenged).

The more that I've been researching Dermatology the more I'm come to believe that everything is either parasitic fungal or vitamin deficiency. I think many people go to these types of videos looking for answers thinking there's something they can apply from the outside to heal themselves. Ultimately it's all in your gut. Your gut is your immune system it's the first most largest part of it. All these different skin conditions are your body trying to tell you hey I'm f***** up inside! People should start turning to some of these older World cures because all the medicines that we've been using the last hundred years of just cause more skin conditions. More gut problems. Leaking bowels irritable bowels, some that just don't move. Even acne on your face is a warning to get your diet in order before other things become worse issues later on. I wonder what the correlation is between people having terrible acne when they were younger to having irritable bowel syndrome as adults is

Hello Dr. Keyte - I love your lectures! You are truly excellent! Regarding the "apex" and "base" of the heart, those names come from the fact that the heart is kind of like an upside-down pyramid: so the "base" of the pyramid is where the great vessels of the heart are located, and the "apex" of the pyramid is where the pointy tip of the ventricles are located. Does that make sense?
