The x3 sticks are awesome ! Matched with the Rubicon I got I can go mobile fast and quiet. The j hooks are great solid attachment of the x3 sticks since there a little longer and heavier it removes having to use bungee cords and loud straps !

This appears similar to the Killdeer belt I am using with my Dryad Hammock saddle. What are the differences if I may ask? The Killdeer belt is 9.5 oz. and it comes with an 18kN COBRA buckle by AUSTRIALPIN™buckle. Looks like the leg loops are sewn in, are they not removable? You did not show how this belt connects and adjusts, looks like regular metal buckles on the website, I wonder if the belt is capable of slipping with that connection system. I like the Killdeer but if I can get something comparable, just as safe, at a lower price, I will. Thanks for sharing.

Ours is a bit different and designed primarily after alpine/mountaineering style harnesses. It has been third party tested and certified to the same standard as rock and rescue harnesses as well. This means our harness has been tested to hold 3500 lbs./10x the weight rating. This is impressive considering the harness weighs just 12 ounces. Our buckles were chosen for safety reasons. Our harness allows the belay loop to slide freely. This is common of many alpine rock-climbing harnesses. This feature allows for more freedom of movement while positioning for a shot. The Austrilpin buckles would not be appropriate in this application. The leg loops were also designed with safety in mind. They are a major part of the safety system and should always be used. Making them removable would allow people a choice we don't believe they should have.
