I got word (and photos) that the teardrop bell was just replaced... along with the WC Hayes bell at the other crossing. Here's hoping the signal maintainer or a close friend has had their eyes on it for years and it's in a safe home! Sadly, I was never able to catch the bell in action. Couldn't ever get up there at the right time!

I saw that. Such a shame. I got lucky and got each one I think one time with the old lights and only Meridian Street once with the new lights while still retaining the teardrop. I sure do hope they found a good home.

@@gmftrainvideos I didn't realize the original flashers were on there either when I used to see the signals while passing through Greentown! It was only my recent stop a couple months ago that I noticed the new LEDs on them. I actually own a US&S 8" flasher with the mounting bracket and everything, trying to rewire it now.

This last Night's 121 he is about 12 hours behind schedule 121 usually leaves Oakwood Yard after doing there work around 10am in the usually due in Lafayette about 6 to 8am the next morning but Chicago Line at Butler north of Fort Wayne is crazy at times specially 121,120 and 181

Old 18K. What they should did was Abolished 30N instead like did 31N now 120 has do extra work pick up extra Traffic 30N now works at Lafayette-East Yard. Plus Have 38N and 39N both are Decatur to Conway and Conway to Decatur like old 34N and 35N

I believe Monroe street is getting upgraded with new signals because I was recently there and saw a pair of new signals sitting off to the side of the crossing.

Those new signals are actually for one of the crossings in Burrows replacing older ones because I was recently there and saw the foundations for them installed and they’re gonna be installing them this week I believe
