There is no runaround track, so I think they have it there to lead the train on the way back to the museum. I'm not exactly sure why the horn was blown. Maybe to warn the crew member in the other engine that the crossing has been cleared.

@@thomasshebat2351 The little engine is there to lead the train back south to the museum, but I am not sure why he blew the horn after rewatching the video. If I recall, he did it at a few railroad crossings, if not all, so maybe he just does it once the train clears the crossing, for a reason unknown to me.

I grew up a few blocks from here, and three is a ton of rail history in the area. There was a turntable not too far away, and a few blocks West of here, down by Fremont St, you can still see evidence of the 10+ sets of rails here by the yard. Thank you for your videos.
