Hello, the truth is that I have not tried it as an fpv camera. I've seen videos on KZbin and it doesn't seem to look bad. It seems like a very good idea to take advantage of both functions in one camera. It is also very economical. If you buy it, I recommend that you record in 2.5 K at 50 fps, since I don't really like the quality at 4K. It is a camera that works very well for cloudy days and indoors, but outdoors it has that problem. I put a 16 nd filter on it, but if I had a 32 it would be even better. And then try setting the shutter at 1/240 for example so that less light enters. I hope that this will improve the problem. All the best.

As for the problem you mention to me, I don't think you can solve it with either the Runcam thumb or the gyroflow. You have to have the drone well tuned, trying not to have vibrations at low frequencies, also try to record at maximum shutter speeds of 1/240 to avoid having jello, and place the camera on the drone with a softmount. If you have vibration problems on the Hawkeye, you will also have them on the Runcam. All the best.

Regarding the issue of cameras, I have to tell you that the Runcam in general gives better quality than the Hawkeye, but the second one in certain situations can also achieve good results. The Hawkeye has very bright optics and gives good results indoors, but always recording in 2.5k. In 4k, I don't like the results. But then outdoors, it makes very bad contrast changes between the brightest areas and the dark areas. Always burn the areas with the most light. For outdoors and in good light, the Runcam gives very good results in 4k. Although I must also say that the Hawkeye stabilizes in gyroflow with fewer problems than the Runcam, which is more delicate. Hello, the truth is that I do not modify anything in particular in gyroflow, I use the default configuration.

The secret is how smooth the camera mount is, the runcam Thumb pro needs a very smooth mount and a very well adjusted quadcopter. Anything other than that and stabilization in gyroflow won't work well.

It is indeed the Hawkeye Thumb 4k, but I recorded that video at 4k and it looks worse than when you record at 2.5k. I want to soon upload a video at 2.5k where the image is sharper and of higher quality than at 4k. Thanks for comment.

Hello, thanks for your comment. Well, I have the camera mounted on a TPU structure and with a light softmount. But the best way to remove the jello is to set the shutter speed to a fixed value of 1/30 or 1/60 and put an nd filter on it.
