Hello from Finland. This was the first time I saw Jimmy Nelson and he is great. Here he smokes but he lived to be 90 years old so he probably wasn’t a smoker.

Mine too! My mom was pregnant during the pageant in 1964. She had a boy, but saved the name for her next baby. A girl! If I ever felt ugly, my older siblings would say, "but Vonda, you're named after a Miss America. You can't be ugly." A sweet encouragement for a younger baby-sister. When I was 18, I had a desire to move to AZ. How excited I was to find out that my namesake was Miss Arizona. I taught with a lady years ago who had been Vonda's suite-mate at ASU. She said that she kept her dummy on their toilet! 😂

I'd like to see a scenario where Danny O'Day wanted to be Jimmy Nelson's son but Jimmy would be hesitant and confused at first but he's wife would say yes you can be my son or Baby boy! 🤣 Now Jimmy would have 7 kids but 1 of them isn't real but a dummy. 😂 I bet Danny O'Day would like to be treated like a newborn Baby at first and he'd want to wear Diapers meant for Baby dolls. 🤣 Then Danny would have a Baby bonnet to go with he's diaper. 😂 Also I think Jimmy Nelson's wife would bottle feed Danny with a real Baby bottle but instead of milk in the bottle it's chocolate milk. 🤣 I really liked this video. :) The music was cool and the people were very wholesome. ☺️

I remember watching on TV when Vonda Kay won Miss America. My sister Janet Jackson knew her from school, Theta Chi Delta Sorrority. Janet always spoke very highly of her. Janet passed away in 2022 from cancer. I also was a Theta and Vonda was mentioned many times. Mary Avilla was a Theta and president when I was in the sorority. She also was voted Miss Congeniality when she represented Arizona in The Miss America pageant

I'm surprised Paul didn't do a parody video of Attack of the 50 foot Woman but instead of the Woman it's Jerry Mahoney who became 50 foot tall. It would be like Attack of the 50 foot Jerry Mahoney!! 😂 Since Jerry is 50 foot tall he wouldn't want to be told he's "sleepy" and he needs to take a nap and he would say NOO NAP!!! I'd bet he'd gather all the candy and sweets from all the states in America and eat all of them or store then somewhere for later. 🤔 🍬🍮🥧 Jerry Mahoney will be the big guy in charge and not little tiny Paul Winchell. 😂😂

Jimmy Nelson... When I think of the hours and hours his voice spent in my head, when I was a kid listening to his 'Instant Ventriloquism' and 'Ventriloquism II' Lps, while sitting in front of the mirror, repeating over and over: ... "The Boy Bought a Basketball... Many Men Make Money... Values in Veal and Venison... If good Fortune Follows a Fellow he's Fine... and, Please Play the Piccolo." - I bet, if you grew-up on Jimmy Nelson's records, you heard Jimmy's and Danny in your head when you read this comment! LOL! RIP Jimmy Nelson
