They could haul 4x8 sheets of plywood with the tailgate closed! Most trucks can't do that today.

Absolutely beautiful car. Beautiful period correct color combination. A matter of taste, obviously, but for a purist like me, the fake knock-off hubs need urgent revision to make the car near perfect. Also, (re)installing the exhaust manifold heat shield should be considered.

Wow that looks amazing! Where did you have the restoration done? They did an incredible job
@urdriverman6 ай бұрын
It was done by a group of Fulvia enthusiasts as part of a collection. All parts were sourced from Italy, France and the UK. These cars deserve the love and care...

Love the colour combination. Think it looks great. When was the restoration done ? Would look better without the bumpers for my personal taste
@urdriverman7 ай бұрын
It does indeed display an unusual but addictive mix sportsmanship with sophistication. The restoration was completed in 2020. The bumpers were powder coated but easy to store away.

Seeing this just made me smile. I grew up with a 76 Gran Torino Squire wagon, my parents got it used from a relative when I was about 2 in 81 and owned it for over 20 years, and 300k on the clock. It was treated as if it was a member of our family. Many road trips growing up it used to pull a pop up tent trailer for camping, and learning to drive very young checking crops on our farm with my dad.

Quite refreshing to see an actual TEMP GAUGE, at a time when car manufactures decided that you didn't need one! 😊

Felicitaciones.

Wow, very nice car; I think the rear suspension is coil springs, no torsion bars; The brown upholstery matching the steering wheels and controls makes it a very refined car. A jewel. Congratulations;

For crying out loud, ...show us the car, ....give us a walk around overview before delving into engine details, features and what not. Learn to do things in order!! As it is, all we have seen is features! We barely got any chance to see the car!!

Sweet ride!! We had a 1972 Gran Torino Squire Station Wagon that was our families beach wagon. It became my first car and I really enjoyed it until someone rear ended me when I was pulling into my job. Unfortunately they totaled it and I had to get another car.

I had one with wood trim. One rainy night I got off of work and the car refused to start what had happened was a screw head falling out of the points and the points weren't firing so I pulled out a matchbook and rolled it up and stuck it in to the distributor so the points would open and there that matchbook sat until I sold the car
