Was there. An amazing performance. It was only 2 days ago, AND IM STILL SORE!! Hadn’t been to a show in almost 4 years,, I felt like myself for the first time in a while. Thankful I had the means to be there that night. Never had seen TGI live . This show was special.

Say what you want but I truthfully feel like I don’t understand why bands change what makes them, them! The Art of Drowning was by far their best and most amazing album. It hit so good and was a masterpiece, I get it didn’t sell well at first but come on you were underground music at the time not many people are gonna know you. Watch any live show of theirs that they play the art of drowning songs and other newer album songs and the older always hit so much better and always has the crowd moving.

damn this rendition Davey did was one of the sickest I've ever seen. Like how different it was from original, while still being in the original range of the song. Best band of this era. One day they'll be looked back at like the Beatles or Rolling Stones.

@@burtro2747 record stores do still exist, but they're not nearly as common as they used to be. I'm lucky enough to have one in my town, but all the record stores in my old town went out of business. There is a chance that record stores could come back though. Vinyl records have become really popular (to the point where even Walmart sells them in stores), and a lot of bands still make CDs and cassette tapes too. The RIAA published a report back in March talking about how physical album sales have seen steady growth over the past couple of years.

I wish this video was the whole song. The band was playing awesomely here. also that guy at 1:48 with dark skin, black hair and glasses gives Davey support when he jumps up on the furniture while singing at the crowd. Then Davey grabs his hand when jumping down - that was a really nice moment. if I was there at that moment I would be stoke that Davey grab my hand :). Beautiful clip.

People don't realize just how good this band actually is....and I don't even know if they know it! They completely continue to reinvent themselves every few years....yet somehow pull it off masterfully, without losing fans and actually gaining them!! They'll always be punk at heart because that's their attitude, they just are themselves, doing what they love and creating the "Sound" they feel is right organically! Through the years......Thank you AFI!!!
