I've been thinking about getting a Swiss tool ive got Swiss army knives but not the Swiss tool I've also got leatherman multi tool's but never had the Swiss tool would you say it's better than the leatherman surge or super tool 300 🤔

@@LeathermanSurge-q6l in my opinion, yes. I think the swisstool is a better multitool than the surge or supertool. Especially now that it can come with a onehand opening main blade

Found this and decided to pick up the Bibury instead of the Surge. I think for me, it's probably enough and I don't have to worry too much about longevity. If it lasts a few years I'll be happy!!

I purchased two of them, and neither came with a manual. Are they trying to save a few coins here? I mean, what would it cost them? Not even a penny per knife. 🤔🙄

Swisstools are notorious for side-to-side plier pivot looseness due to overpolishing of the pivot. They need to address this issue. Good review.

Hello, the knife is a copy from China. The real German army knife did not have an eagle on the blade. The real ones from the various manufacturers who made them for the German "Bundeswehr" are great! Many greetings from a German veteran who served with it for 4 years.

On the angled bit-driver: if you want to use it for nuts, just grind down the driver until it's perpendicular - the driver is long enough to do so, no further need for an extender.

You got the carbon steel but I'm unsure if these were 1095 or 1075 . I know Ontario made the switch to 1075 from 1095 around the time this knives came out. Maybe they did do a run or 2 of 1095 either way these are cool little blades

1 year later and I'm just now seeing this video because I just bought one a couple weeks ago. I'm glad to see the price has dropped since you posted this video. It's currently $33 on Amazon. I have a Gerber MP400 and love it, along with an original leatherman that's probably 25 years old now. I wanted something a little more pocket friendly so here we are. I really like the SOG Powerpint. Besides autocorrect always trying to change the name to PowerPoint, the only downsides so far... The lack of flat head screwdriver larger the precision size is a head scratcher. Sure, you can grind one but you shouldn't have to. Also, I realize this is a small tool and meant to take up little space in your pocket but I really wish they had found room to store one but for the bit driver. Still, it's well made and I can see a lot of pocket time for this tool in my future.

After having this knife for a month now, and carrying it every day, it's an excellent knife. Today I checked out a Benchmade Bugout, and mini Bugout. No way would I pay $180 for the Bugout when this thing exists. The Bugout is over hyped, and way over priced compared to this knife.....which given the choice, I prefer the OT.

I tend to carry way too much lol; but in general; a pry bar, a few knives, multiple pens one of which is the open pro so doubles as back up flash light, a flashlight, and a little bit driver to cover screw driver and the like.

Best use case of a leatherman pouch i have seen, put some knipex in it:) Swisstool for life man. What i have noticed, most time spend on my body for tools has to be a flashlight (emisar d4v2) and a vic classic around the neck. After that a swisstool x, a lighter and a fixed blade. After that a bitkit, bits and bobs like ducttape, bandaid, notepad, bobby pins, oil etc in a edc pouch, all together less than a kilogramm, saving the day, just in case.
