A wand of a left foot, Enda his brother gets most of the plaudits but Donie Smith is a fantastic player in his own right and he is like a lad picking a lock when shaping up for a score from play. An excellent free taker too, his last gasp free v Mayo in 2017 AIQF (1st game) got Roscommon as near to an AISF as they have got to in last 33 years, I was privileged to witness that. But his free 30m out into the teeth of a near gale plus heavy drizzle in Salthill in 2016 Connacht final v Galway was executed to absolute perfection and should have been included here to make a top 5. A nerveless man to take those kicks, he never let the primrose and blue down when they needed him.

Both good on scoring from play, Lynch is an unbelievable play maker. Kelly is not a play maker. Kelly takes the frees for Clare, which makes it look like he is more prolific. For me Lynch is the best hurler in Ireland by a distance.

Both players are great but you need scores to win games and Tony kelly will score for u all day and cian lynch also has better teammates by his side so I think we’ll give tony kelly this one

A lot of the Limerick support are former bandwagon supporters of Munster Rugby. That's why they don't know that you can't throw the ball. They're just amazed it can be (as it often is) thrown forward. Can't blame JP for that.

Everyone does. Cork started it . Waterford jumped on it. Limerick followed suit. Refs fault. Not players.

I see I've attracted attention from people who probably don't even know who Charlie Carter is. That's the downside of dealing with bandwagoners I suppose. Well Cork’s Tim O’Mahony won’t slap him with the Hurley into the neck, while off the ball the next time. Will he? O’Mahony should have been red carded for that.

The real world isn't like space jam dude. The tipperary sponsor is also a multi-millionaire Glad to see you complete forget the 10 years these lads have been on top of their game. From underage in club and schools and intercounty. Anybody remember the exhibitions they put on then. One of the best underage forwards in the country cathal o neill can't even make it on the starting team yet and he scored 11 points from centerforward against clare behind closed doors during the summer. Misery loves company man..... The limerick team employs people that any top county can. They use the same facilities that anybody can too.
