Where did you get those Torque specifications? I cant seem to find any info about the bolts with the shoulder ( pictured with the Arrow in your video )having different torque specifications. Thanks in Advance

Not to second guess your work, but that harness has absolutely nothing to do with the crank position sensor, nor anything transmission related. It's two knock sensors, engine oil temp and engine oil pressure. What made you chase that harness with crank codes and throttle codes?
@jfGarage4k3 күн бұрын
So before I dive into this problem head first. Here what I learned understand the CIRCUIT. Theory of Operation: Primary 5volt ref supply the Crank sensor, oil sensor, throttle sensor, AC pressure Transducer & Pedal Sensor they all link together. For self protection if the 5 volt circuit shorted to ground or sensors is internally shorted, the PowerTrain Control Module (PCM) will turn off the 5 Volt reference supply, Tranny, Engine light turn on

@@jfGarage4k it came to me with this problem, no heat, suspected possibly the water pump impeller had failed, the shaft was loose so installed a new one anyways and still the same issue, no coolant flow, top rad hose getting super hot and fan cycling, small hose off back of pump was rotten, had a small leak so i suspect over time it got low on coolant then lost its seal and air locked the rad.

I have a few suggestions, but I noticed on some of these KZbin videos on the 1.4 1.8. There’s a lot of sensitive people as far as making suggestions such as one said if you know so much why don’t you make your own video? This is what the comment section is for to give suggestions to help the KZbin video so let’s start out. You changed the water pump but you didn’t change the thermal housing unit which has to come off that water pump when you do it and you know that how much time does it take or how much money does it cost $20 to take it off put a new one on as you put the water pump in now you have a heat sensor on the opposite side you do a water pump you do the thermostat what’s the big deal it ain’t that hard to do the heat sensors the same thing a couple bolts and a gasket take a couple hoses off if you’re gonna do one side why not do the other side And now lastly like somebody else mentioned in the comment which you have is called an ear bleed screw at the top of the radiator. It could be on the left side or right side. They’re kinda hard to see because GM made them black and then made the plastic housing black so you’re looking for a little screw at the top that looks like a Phillips tip would fit, but it’s a plastic bolts go figure GM couldn’t make something obvious you know what I mean but then again they make plastic parts I’ll never buy a GM again. They cut the corner so bad because they’re cheap. They don’t care about making a good quality part. Anyhow, once you do that bleed out the radiator now if by chance you still have any air in it, it’s gonna be in your cooling area for your heater inside your cab. You could run it on hot. Put the blower on high. Take it out for a ride. It’ll blow itself out and then the next day after it cools take that little air bleeder screw out again. Take a peek at it and see if you can fill it up. See if it drains out. See if there’s any more air in it. It’s not that difficult you’re doing OK just gotta spend a couple dollars if you want to because again you’re investing in a junk engine and it’s gonna cost you a couple dollars to do it right good luck.
