I'm a huge fan, but this was the seventh best Alien film for me, 6/10 movie. Has some great parts, but things that annoyed me...like the effects on Rook...and I wasn't crazy about the ending. I'm glad it's making money though, sequel guaranteed...hopefully the colony they're headed towards in the next one is the one David hijacked in 'Covenant'. We need to tie up those lose ends even if his story doesn't lead to the ship crash on LV-426 like Scott originally intended. Oh, and I can't wait for the tv show on FX/Hulu next year. It's from Noah Hawley, the dude behind Fargo and Legion, so ya know it's gonna be great!

I hated that they used the iconic lines in situations that here were STUPID. like "Get away from her you bitch!" FY movie. I loved Andy, the best of the movie but that line was horrible coming from him. And Rain is no Ripley at all. She never shoot a weapon and all of the sudden she is amazing with it. BS. At least Ripley got trained by Hicks and even when she needed to shoot she got nervous for a second. The CGI on the familiar droid was HORRIBLE. The end was PATHETIC, i HATED IT if I want to watch that I watch Alien Ressurection, at least it has "Ripley". The more I watched more I dislike this movie and since when Alien safe humans. COME ON. The alien saving from falling. BULLSHIT. and they found the dumb Alien in space but not Ripley?? Sure!! And yes Prometheus and Alien Covenant SUCKED, especially Covenant. So no. it was good comparing to the other 4 we got, but even that it was not a great movie. it was 5/10. Nothing will ever beat Alien and Aliens. I prefer the game Alien Isolation Tells a better story than this movie..

Aliens need humans for hosts, they take them back to their hive when they can. Also...they did find Ripley. Her shuttle is apparently shown getting blasted away from the research station at one point in the background during one of the destruction scenes.

@@Shiftygism Are you talking about the stupid save? Did you actually payed attention. Did the stupid alien looked like it was taking her to hive? NOOOOO it SAVED HER. No Ripley shuttler was not even in the movie, that's debri of the Nostromo, which by the way there was NOT WHERE THE ALIEN WAS DROP BY RIPPLEY CAUSE HE IS NOT EVEN IN THE F*** SHIP. But there he was in the middle of the debris. So yeah dude, another thing this movie did that was DUMB AF

It's been two years and i still hear misinformation about Ezra repeated online, it's so irritating and unfair. Even if they did act aggressively so many times in public, being a groomer is a huge leap in comparison, they didn't deserve such a label, and of course the press that smeared them so eagerly won't publish any retracrions now that the situation is resolved

Your comment should start with "the press", because it was media manipulation that would cause you to think they "did act aggressively so many times in public". There's a difference between acting erratically without ill intent, and acting aggressively with intent to hurt people. Ezra was the former, the media manipulated the facts/headlines to make it seem like the former and create the illusion of more incidents than there actually were.

All I have is the head from jon Kent's superman from future state. Doesn't look as good as the swap in the video. Or from the sounds of it doesn't look as good as a bearded head swap. Nonetheless it still brings out the figure quite a bit!

I love David's Superman suit for Superman (2025). Don't get the hate for the suit to me it's fine the color of the suit reminds me of Tyler's Superman suit from Superman & Lois a bit more so the Season 3 version. Sure I'm not that crazy about the neck collar on the suit from the New 52 Superman suit but for me it's fine and super can't wait for Superman (2025) !!!

You Guys still think that James Gunn can rebuild DC. What are the movies that Gunn is famous for . Guardians , Suicide Squad ; and ;PeaceMaker. all of these movies are based on reformed (CRIMINALS ) because that's all he knows and that's all he can relate too (CRIMINALS) . He does not understand a Boy Scout like Superman . I bet you that He is going to write Superman like he is a Reformed criminal and he is going to make the Villain more sympathetic and misunderstood instead of being totally evil

I don't know why fans are freaking out. Looks like a Superman suit to me. But the trend continues. Superman fans have been whining about Superman on film since Superman III. And this is exactly why so many directors won't touch the character. Fans act like this is Jesus Christ.

You're missing the point of why people are upset. This suit looks like a sweater on David. It looks like a costume you'd buy from a store for $10 bucks. It's been rumored that this film is supposed to be over a $200 million budget and if that's true, then there is no excuse for why the Superman suit looks so cheap and baggy on David. The Superman suit has always been a tight fitting suit. Like Enosh said, David worked his tail off in the gym and put on 30-40 lbs of muscle and now with this suit on, you can't even tell if he's got muscles because that suit is swallowing him up. The Christopher Reeves, Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill suits look way better than this. If this is Gunn's official Superman suit, then this is not a good start.

I like the suit, maybe should have gone with a red belt but am curious as to how it would look with the trunks. I remember the first pic reveal for Cavill and I remember fans having an issue with the pic due to not seeing how the costume looked.

I can’t form a coherent opinion of this suit cuz I can’t even see what it looks like in full view! I can however question the competence of the person whose creative decision it was to put this… whatever this is… out as the FIRST REVEAL of like DC’s first superhero who is supposed to launch an entire universe… David’s expression looks like he just got off a 20 hour shift (with an “I’m too old for this sh*t” look on his face) before seeing whatever that AI looking nonsense that is happening outside! if an actual company did that background then… well it is what it is 🤷🏻♀️ I am now even more skeptical about how this is going to go, but I will wait for a trailer! I wish I hadn’t missed the livestream 😅 prime rant opportunities missed 🤣
