Someone would love it so much that they would buy (and save) the company and rename it 'remington'

Why didn't you just call it the Skepp-tree? SUE YOUR TEACHERS! or stop using synthetic speech. Research the proper pronunciation of the words you need to use. Your channel is SO GOOD in every other respect. Don't you know anyone who is older than 40 or 50 who would gladly help you with this SIMPLE TASK? You should be embarrassed. But that was yet another failing the communist infested American educational system instilled into you to accelerate the destruction of western civilization. I wanted to know about this car. But your channel has become unwatchable by literate people.

The "c" is silent. Sometimes it's pronounced this way in this video. Other times, the narrator throws a "k" sound after the S.

It's truly a shame this never made it to production. It was beautiful and deserved a shot. I gues Studebaker had no money to tool up for the body.

The name is pronounced sep-ter. It means an ornamented staff for ceremonial occasions as a symbol of sovereignty. Clever name considering Studebaker was fighting for survival as a car company.

Why can't the modern auto industry build cars that look this cool? I don't understand why most EVs look so ugly and nerdy

Such a shame Studebaker went under. Although nothing will beat the 51 Champion or 53 Hawk, the Sceptre was a big improvement over the ugly Lark of the early 60s

I'm partial to Studebakers already, and this was always one of my favorite automotive "should-have-been" cars. I'm also wondering what this would be like if the conventional engine was replaced with a Tesla crate motor - then it would truly be an Electric Razor on Wheels . . . . Thanks for posting this! 75th Like.

Thanks for the detailed views of the interior! I had seen this car in my auto books but not too much. so, i believe it is pronounced "Septer" as the c is silent? One of the first cars with square headlights! ❤

Studebaker was always ahead of the time in both design and engineering. The Studebaker Avanti is still one of the most beautiful cars ever built.
