What's ur major?
@naikitakeshi16 күн бұрын
@@Office-x3d For financial reasons and other reasons I only completed one semester of college, my major was linguistics but I knew I wouldn’t complete a degree in that. I left college to become a self taught composer/musician and that was one of the best decisions I ever made as I no longer have any student loan debt. Physics is something I studied on the side to some degree, and I mostly just studied what was interesting and relevant to what I wanted to do with it (actually I have some updates to this theory to upload at some point since I added a couple more parts). I’m a big proponent of self education especially with college being so expensive.

mannn it sounds good but calling yourself a "guitar virtuoso" is probably not going to attract the kind of attention you want..

what effect pedal ar u using
@naikitakeshi16 күн бұрын
For the wah pedal you mean? It’s a Dunlop CBM95 mini wah. There are also some other pedals engaged like a distortion and delay.

Would you be so kind as to tell me what song is being played at the beginning? Is it improvisation? If so, do you have any songs similar to it in sound?
@naikitakeshi20 күн бұрын
Thanks for commenting, it is improvisation and I think the beginning sounds kind of similar to a song called October which I released on one of my Piano Solos albums, you can find it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pH7dZqF_qN-nrKcsi=3H5YIYxj96Y96WzF

A little bit of adjacent string muting and slight reduction in the overtones(excessive distion) a little less pick attack and this would great not just good. But then again it's just a warm up..... Msbe the what comes after is what it's really about...😅
@naikitakeshi20 күн бұрын
Well I’ve got more of these coming and this was the warmup, it’s all improvising. Just want to add though that I sometimes make a lot of noise on purpose, to me it’s part of the music, all that noise and dissonance can be something people like to hear too if it’s intentionally woven into the music.

Can you play jazz?
@naikitakeshi25 күн бұрын
Improvised jazz sure, in general though I don’t study jazz pieces often because I just don’t enjoy it that much. Jazz has influenced my music to a certain extent but it’s not one of my main areas of interest.

Is the sustain pedal just cranked down?
@naikitakeshiАй бұрын
Yes, I started playing a lot of piano stuff like that about a year and a half ago and I really like the sound, I think it sounds really big and beautiful, a lot of my music is designed to have a “wall of sound” style of composition and production which you can hear in my albums, particularly in Pop Metal. This style may not be for everyone but I like it and hope some people out there like it too.
