Forgotten? By Millenials, I suppose. Much of these commentaries are largely BS, from a historian's standpoint. Baloney!

The Yamaha XS11 was introduced in 1977 and was faster than most of these bikes topping 135 mph. The Honda CBX introduced in 1978 made a little more top end power, but lacked low end torque. The high and wide transverse 6 cylinder motor was a thing of beauty but all that weight up high ruined handling. All but a pro rider could launch the XS11 quicker through the quarter mile.

20:02 The Kawasaki triple's four in to one exhaust system certainly is unique! 🙄🤣🤣 WTF is the picture of the reed valves for? The H1 500 is the bike that earned the nickname "Widowmaker", not the H2 750.

@@elemar5 Was your 250 triple stock? Looki8ng up period tests a 400F Honda was over 2 sec. quicker through the quarter mile and 20mph faster top speed than a KH250.
@richardwarsinske7064
@richardwarsinske7064 3 күн бұрын
? The 350 was indeed a dog but the 400F was by far the best performing 350-400cc bike of that era. Period test from Cycle magazine showed it tested at a 14.71 sec. quarter mile and had a top speed of 103mph. No threat to a RD350 but only slightly behind a KH400 and faster than the rest of its 2-stroke competition.

@@richardwarsinske7064 My comment seems to have disappeared.! My bike was the model before the KH. 1975 S1C. Slightly faster and also expansions. 20mph faster! Wow a real rocketship then.

I think the rarest motorcycle in the world is the Traub. There is only one known in the world. Its dated to be about 1916. It's at wheels through time in Maggie valley NC along with many other rare bikes.

If you can't say anything nice, say nothing at all. So I won't say that the majority of information of each bike is incorrect or mention the AI pronunciation, or... Clearly, you're capable of making a decent video but do a little research about the bikes you feature.

As an owner and rider of many of the bikes featured, I would have enjoyed this video if not for so many mistakes in the information and images. Almost every bike, had some incorrect information. I appreciate the work that went into this, but a little more research could make it so much better.

Who ever tested a 400/4 at 110mph? A touch over 100 was usual. The RD350/400 was similar but got there a lot quicker.
