Wow this room is incredible, are you a carpenter by trade?

HOLY SHIT! I’ve had the photo of this room saved on Pinterest for so long and I thought it was a digital image this whole time. I can’t believe it’s actually a real room

Hi, I know the comments are turned off for your Majoca video, so i will tell you here. That is the best VR 180 video on KZbin. No kidding. The resolution is great, the angles are amazing. Makes me feel like I'm sitting there enjoying the beach with everyone else. Thank you, what a great experience!

While putting both videos at 4k quality setting, the 5.7k is noticably sharper on my monitor thats a 2k display. In my Oculus Go at 2560 x 1440 resolution (1280 x 1440 per eye) I'm struggling to see a difference. However... with the youtube VR app it doesn't tell you exactly what resolution being chosen, it just tells you "highest quality". *shrug*
@leewatson69595 жыл бұрын
I found the same regards to Oculus go resolution. I wonder if there will be a resolution bump for the app down the line. I think I will continue to upload in 5.7k just encase. however for better edited videos i will upload in 4k because the software im using (filmora) cant export any higher. thanks for the reply and sorry i took so long to reply.

Well done! Really interesting enironment to peek into a person’s life. Just the abrupt music cut off at the end-is a bit jarring.
@leewatson69595 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback John Chu. The music was a simple edit after, using youtube Studio, im not sure if i can fade it out but ill look into it. After watching it back, it is a little Jarring, thanks.

If you look at fine detains like hair strands, 4k is actually more clear than 5k. I dont know what the hell youtube is up to when it comes to compression. I feel i have to tell you this so you dont spend extra time uploading in 5k for nothing.

For some reason the sun doesnt seem to be as vibrant as real life, the quality though is really good compared to most. Also do you have the original files on google storage or something?
@leewatson69595 жыл бұрын
I agree, the light is definitely duller in the vids. I believe the Vuze does a better job in this area, maybe an update will fix it later down the line. I've kept all the original files on my pc because they are a slight bit better that the youtube upload.

I enjoyed this! it does look washed out though.. VR180 cameras have a really hard time being in interiors filming exteriors, as they have to deal with basically 2 sets of lighting conditions. Usually they get the interior right, but then the same setting overexposes the exterior. The way to solve this is to set up the camera closer to the window, so it adjusts it's setting for the world outside. There's also a HDR setting on the Insta360 EVO, which is supposed to correct for these kinds of mixed dynamic circumstances, so it may be worth trying to see how that handles things. Anyway great work! I really love a drive around the countryside :)

You have an innate sense of optimizing the 3D effect. Our boy & girl are all grown up. So thank you for sharing the joy (and suspense) of an Easter hunt. You’ve taught your well-mannered children to share with one another, overcoming sibling rivalry, well done! Even Oscar joined in. You have the coolest backyard jungle w/ trampoline. And a cute kitty 🐱 too.

So when viewing in an Oculus go, the 5.7k version is better than the 4k but it still don't have the detail it has viewing it direct from the dedicated insta360 app or even dropbox. presumably KZbin downgrade it. its not a massive difference but a noticeable one. ill do a few more tests.

@Jon Lindsay Hi Jon. My set up is the Insta360 selfie stick with a mini tripod for feet. I have a battery pack between the feet to stop it falling over and the extra weight helps keep the camera straight. hope that helps mate and good luck tomorrow.

Lee Watson how many valspar glitter to one gallon paint?
@Gemma_W7 жыл бұрын
Hey, this looks fab!! Im just about to do my daughters room in a pink glitter. Like you, im using b&q colour paint and valspar glitter. Did u literally just pour all the glitter in the paint and then just use it? Any tips and tricks u learned along the way would be greatly appreciated. Thank alot x
@leewatson69597 жыл бұрын
Hi, I put a small amount of glitter in the paint but i was working with small areas. I used a roller, and gave it 2 coats, i then put some glitter on some paper and gently blew it over the wet paint and rolled it in after I thought is was enough. Doing a whole room, you might be best to put all the glitter in the paint and giving it a real good stir or maybe paint one wall at a time and then blowing the glitter on. sorry I could not be of better help, I would probably do one wall at a time and blow the glitter on, that way most of the glitter will be on show. if you do blow it on, make sure you roll it in with the roller but make sure the roller isnt dripping with paint. facebook.com/lee.watson.7311/media_set?set=a.10211276844178364.1073741845.1277454246&type=3
