Dude, I am IN LOVE with your videos, Dandadan does a great job in writing dialogue, its very human-like. The character designs are pleasing to the eye (except for Ayase's grandmother) and in general it is a series that stands out from other manga.

I've only discovered Dan Da Dan recently since the animation came out and I'm up to date with the Manga. I'm definitely now a fan of the series now and looking forward to more. I invited a tri of friends over to celebrate a very slightly belated birthday together and for us all to do Starfield a day after launch. Not even 3 hours in and with all of us swapping and taking turns, we were so bored or frustrated playing it that we were all in agreement that we'd rather do something else. We weren't trying to be overly critical and wanted to give it a fair shot, but there was practically nothing good about the game that it felt like doing chores would be more productive. Not even alcohol could help improve it.

The only reason that I watched OP was due to my job mentaly so undemanding and me having to wait half the time that my time was basically worthless

Shonen is demographic, ffs. No redefining that. Dandadan quite special in their adaptation and how they blend genre into their storytelling but it is stand alone??not exactly. Depend on consistency, Dandadan would become one of the peaks of Shonen, at least for this generation.

My first and forever biggest issue with Demon Slayer... the slayer test. They are a HOPELESSLY understaffed operation, loosing BADLY to the demons, BARELY hanging there. But they keep fighting, SUPPOSEDLY, because they value human life and their fellow man above all else. And yet. And yet! They throw their trainees, unsupervised, unsupported, "get good or die" style, in a pit of demons every year to select the best ones, AND LET DOZENS OF CANDIDATES DIE IN THE PROCESS. Candidates they NEED! Whose lives they supposedly CARE ABOUT! That now can't go back to training, can't improve, get better, try again, and JOIN THE CAUSE. That is, again, HOPEFULLY UNDERSTAFFED. WORSE YET, they left an overpowered demon, WAY too strong for the entry level they're selecting for, run wild and murdering in those grounds... instead of sending ANYONE more qualified to get rid of it. They're just letting a DEMON, the thing they HATE, murder their students indiscriminately, candidates they DESPERATELY NEED.... for?! What reason, again?! You're right. The slayers have never heard of teamwork.

Re followers, Mass Effect 1 had your squadmates give unique dialogue and comments that were consistent with how we knew them as characters, to the point where they'd interact with whoever the other squadmate was, uniquely depending on who it was. Characters in the story could acknowledge what they said, adding to the immersion of it all being one cohesive story. Mass Effect came out in 2007.

I went into Starfield kind of expecting Cyberpunk 2077 levels of interactions, but man, despite how much shit people give Projekt Red, at least they created a compelling universe despite everything taking place in night city.
