I've made a comment before about this on one of your recent videos. Stonehouse Brewery does have a webshop, but they only sell bottles of spirits. I don't know where Baz gets these bottles from to give you, but they're nowhere to be seen anywhere else, and when you phone them up, it's a shrug of the shoulders. Are these promotional trade only samples or similar?? Perhaps Baz should come on your channel and let the cat out of the bag 🍻

@odds-and-sods they do sell them but only to locals if you visit there brewery I assume. Baz picks them up direct from them and post's them to me at his expense. I'd love to be able to order direct as there cracking beers 🍻

You can pick some of them up in local shops in Shropshire, but Best of British Beer web site does a brewery case of beer from Stonehouse. Definitely worth trying. £33.50 for 12 bottles plus post, currently out of stock as it is popular but keep an eye out or contact them, they may be able to say when it's due back in stock.

Once again mate I do pester them. The chances when you ring up you just get through to the bar and restaurant so they can only pass your comments on. With me going in there constantly telling them to get em online they might cave in one day 🤣

Cloudy with a yellow color and white foam that slowly falls. Sweet tropical fruits dominate, with mango and passion fruit at the forefront, pineapples and peaches in the background. Pink grapefruit and canned tangerines. Low carbonation, surprisingly light body, extremely drinkable.

Didn't really do it for me this one certainly not in bottle. Tried it a few weeks ago on tap and tht it was much better. Think that's just my taste buds tho. Glad you liked it pal

I'm sure the offerings from Stonehouse Brewery are excellent, but their website only offers spirits for sale and no beer and no mention of these beers that you're reviewing on their webshop. I've made an enquiry with them a couple of times and they don't seem interested that they don't sell them which is ashame and frustrating at the same time.

Hiya mate. They might not seem bothered but I'm sure it's just because they have so much going on and they are a small brewery. The distillery side of things changed over the last 6 months, new head brewer in and also for certain reasons they're no longer going to do their own cider. They are aware of people wanting their beer but I think because it's only in bottle form at the moment (yh I know the whiskey is too) I think that maybe something that puts them off doing online orders and canning machines aren't cheap. It is frustrating I'm as frustrated as you as I'm really trying to support them and get the name out there. I will keep badgering them. I shall screenshot your comments and pass em on 👍

Appreciate that and the potential risks that a venture like what to brew and bottle is a bit of a gamble especially on a commercial basis. Fingers crossed that it works for them as I'll be one of the first alongside yourself to order a few 😉

Business Time is a take from a scene in the program ‘Flight of the Conchords’ Really funny, worth a watch 😊. Had this on draught at their taproom and it was very nice - got a couple of cans in the fridge.

NVB are pretty local to me, visit their taproom pretty regular. I thought this was actually okay and it was very close to the BB date - I did think it lacked a bit of carbonation though.

Is that Samuel Smiths pub still there in Stamford - I thought it’d closed? I was in there several years ago and it was nice, but I was disappointed they didn’t have this on tap / cask - I had to have a bottle. Lovely beer, a slightly different take on a Porter for me, just something different about it.

The best IPA on sale in Tesco, possibly all supermarkets. Always looks quite thin to me when pouring but I’m always impressed by the flavours, especially for the price.

Northern Monk supermarket beers are awful these days, I never touch them nowadays - I even think Heathen has changed, used to like that as well.
