細かい部分の指摘になりますが、動画で使っていたdecide とdecide on のニュアンスには違いがありますか?ネイティブスピーカーの観点から教えていただけるとありがたいです!

Very good question. "Decide" is used in many different ways. However, as a general rule, you can follow these common structures: 1. decide to do We decided to go to the beach. 2. decide whether to do or not Have you decided whether to go or not? 3. decide what to.... Have you decided what to buy for Tim's birthday present? 4. decide on something (choosing the best answer among several options) I need to decide on the restaurant for the party. 5. decide something (the person who will make the decision) The president will decide the price. The judge will decide the penalty.

Person 1: I can't believe what happened at the meeting today. Person 2: Sorry. I didn't mean to jump on your train of thought. Person 1: That's okay. It happens.

Detective 1: The suspect's alibi doesn't add up. We need to dig deeper. Detective 2: Right. We should review the security camera footage again.
Great question. They are similar but a little different. 1. Pop in = appear for a short time. Examples: Can you pop in if you have time? / I might pop in for a few minutes if I'm not too busy. 2. Show up = come or attend. Examples: I can't believe he didn't show up to the party. / Bill never shows up to company events. Good luck with your studies. : )
Oh wow! I'm so happy to hear that you like this video. And thank you for your suggestion. I think that's a good topic. Good luck with your studies! : )
Understanding different accents in English is so difficult. Don't lose confidence. If you have more chances to listen to Thai English, you will be able to understand it. Good luck with your studies! : )
