6 years ago, I use to live with my grandma up in Tennessee. Which now I live in Mississippi. I have a dad who’d use to drink beer and do drugs, yet still drinks beer and dips. Anyways, one time he was with his so called “girlfriend” (not my mom) and he was drinking. A ton. So he had his “girlfriend” and my uncle Kieth at his house, once my uncle Kieth saw my dad getting upset, yelling at me for absolute no reason. My uncle called the cops on him, that’s when he went to jail. My grandma made a drive ALL THE WAY FROM Tennessee to Mississippi. Yet not a regret, just a regret reminding myself about this moment. I fear my father for now on and I stay away from him when he gets mad. He is no longer an alcoholic, or cigarette smoker. He drinks beer, and dips. Yet he doesn’t drink alcohol around me. No longer that he does it, I hope. I get that this was a long story. I’m sorry. But thank you for taking the initiative time to read this comment. I appreciate it so much. My biggest regret is not spending enough time with my family in general. I feel like i barely see them. And i have the choice to. Three of my pets died already and two of my grandparents and i know my pets probably had a great life but one thing deep down inside of my mind it keeps saying, "they hated living with you, you shouldve treated them better and gave them more attention and love" i feel horrible. Now all i want to do is see my family.

The most painful thing that I’ve ever been told was by my older half brother, “You will never be my sister”. My father had divorced his mother when he was a teenager then years later got married again and had me. Although we have a few years between us, I always looked up to him and his many accomplishments. Always wanting to be like him one day. We didn’t have too much in common but I just liked being in his presence. His college graduation was a big deal, I was so proud and when telling everyone about it, I always called him “my brother” never really used the word “half” or “step”. I was just so proud and thought I was so cool to call him “my brother”. 2 weeks ago I’m not sure what happened but we were at a house gathering and towards me leaving he told me “you will never be my sister. We will always only be step.” Then walked away. Even though it has not even been a month, I still think about it every night before going to bed and during the day.
