I know many fans of the book was disappointed by the series, and while I want to respect their opinion, I've never read the book and I thought the series was stunning. You did an excellent job capturing the drama of it. 💔💔

I always ship Jo & Laurie, but it's even worse in this version. In the other versions, I was completely able to get behind Laurie & Amy (especially the 2019 version) and Jo & Frederich (especially the 1994 version, and I appreciate that in the 2019 version there is an ambiguous ending which leaves the viewer chooses if she really ended up with the professor in real life). But here? The chemistry between Jo & Laurie is way too strong. However, I love all the actors and validate the professor in this version too, but once again, the chemistry is less good. I think the worst is Amy's case? I love the actress in general, but I have a blockage with her interpretation and her relationship with Laurie here. I feel like by removing Laurie's negative aspect from this part of the story, his union with Amy makes a lot less sense.
