Never buy R50i. I got it and it cannot handle bass at all. Soundcore sent me 2 replacement pieces. All three had same problem.

@@ericalexcantero8249 you are welcome always, I will recommend you charge first then unplug and use as it charges fast. Also the battery life is great so no worries at all. Still using it and it's working fine

I don't have an iOS device to check, but I will recommend you remove the tip, install and try again... Plus try restarting your iOS device. I hope this help

I used a type c that came with my rechargeable fan on this video....but you can use that which came with your smart phone because I do same sometimes and it works fine
