Thank you! I saw a listing on marketplace for a kid selling them for $170 and thought they were fake, I watched this video before meeting up and it checked all the boxes so I bought it. I even later went to the apple store the next day to confirm it was real cause I was so shocked at the price I got them at, turns out they were real. Not sure if the kid stole it or just didn't know the value of them but your video helped a lot thank you!

One thing to test is the Find My app feature, try to prompt the make a sound feature when trying to find them. Even in the most refined fakes of airpods pro gen 1 and 2 they cannot replicate those.

I didn’t care for the cafe luxe. Couldn’t get my beans quite right unless I was doing quad shots. Classic coffee wasn’t good. I returned it and got a gaggia pro evo and a eureka grinder. Does a way better job at espresso.

@@azozazoz4117 I rented a Tesla for a week when I was originally looking to get back into EV’s. Wasn’t impressed with the build quality. It rattled and squeaked, and the autopilot was glitchy as hell slamming on the breaks when I was in the right lane, and cars were merging onto the highway. Hard pass.

All modern cars are consumer cars and your driving seems to be rough. The Polestar is practical, beautiful and rarely breaks down. I think the shock absorbers and headlights are to blame because you are damaging them. And the sounds underneath the car sound like your road is full of potholes. That's the case with public cars.

Just don’t adjust the strength from 2 or the machine will lose its mind, in Europe we have single, double and quad baskets and on strength 1 barista assist can’t make up its mind which grind setting to use when you switch baskets. I’ve had mine to a couple of weeks now and it’s still not making decent espresso. It just will not dial in. I’m at the point where I’m going to factory reset the machine and start over on strength 2 and hopefully that will solve it.

Driven 68 000 miles on my Polestar 2 performance, and will switch to the Polestar 4 soon. I had Tesla before and that was a real POS. As long as you stay away from Tesla, your fine.

@@TwelveBravoThink it’s the puck prep. Look at the shots - start off ok but then you suddenly get fast gushing flow then it starts spraying round a bit. This is a sign of channelling. Water should be pushed evenly through the puck to get even extraction across all coffee surfaces. Which should result in a slow and steady flow. But your flow is slow then fast then gushing. Look at your puck after extraction and see if there are signs of channels forming down the sides or potentially if water is lifting the whole puck a little and flowing round the sides. It could be you need a little higher dose of coffee in the basket to prevent it or could be that you aren’t tamping evenly. Or tamping is too light or too hard. I know it’s sort of a guided machine with everything automated but those shots are definitely not optimal.

I bought some on eBay. Came in a sealed "Apple" box too. I noticed when I paired them. When I looked at the warranty, it showed only 4 months. Next, I checked firmware...it was the original firmware from four years ago. It would never update. So, having a "legit" serial number I sent them in to AppleCare for repairs. They sent them back stating they were fake, in Apple's own terminology, unfixed. The hardware: I knew it had to be fake as while it initially looked real, the feel and quality was awful. Some others who bought from the same seller noted spelling errors on the very real looking box. Of course I reported it to ebay asap and got my money, but ONLY after I returned them and they were received by the seller. The seller, to the best of my knowledge, wasn't banned even though he sold ~10 sets of these. Bottom line. If it looks too good to be true, it is. Just buy from Apple and be done. For anyone else who may get these, here is the serial number mine had: H0YLM52GP3WF Oddly, it now shows the warranty expires in May, 2025! This is really scary.

(WDT) Wire Distribution Tool - I'm an espresso snob with 6 machines total worth more than the Blue Book value of my car and I love this! Even James Hoffman himself approves of it for the masses and he hates everything. He says it helps people make excellent, true espresso easily. The only concern he has is with integrated grinders and the possibility of failure after the warranty. However, for the price just get another, it will probably be upgraded - or graduate to a prosumer level machine. I've tired of my ECM Classika PID E61 grouphead machine and want simple. That's why I'm seriously considering this awesome machine. Great Video!
