can it used on black surface
@IronOrchidDesignsКүн бұрын
Depending on the transfer, they can be used on a black surface. Because this one is already such a dark color, I'm not quite sure how well it would show up on black❤️

3 great projects. I especially love the bells. Regarding the candles might i make a suggestion ? I’d pour one mould piece at a time and then when it’s mostly set ( ie solid be still flexible) I would use the heat gun on the wax piece while it is still in the mould. Allow a thin layer of the wax to soften enough to be tacky / wet and then roll the mould around the candle ( as if the candle was a rolling pin ) so that the whole mould piece is in contact with the candle surface. Then turn both over together so the candle is in your lower hand and carefully peel / lift the silicone mould off. Gravity should help the moulded wax to stay in place. If that makes sense ? The problem as I saw it is that your wax in the mould harden the wrong way round - the top / surface of your wax mould piece is actually the back side and hardens first when in fact that’s the side you need to be softest for adhesion. So be allowing it to almost fully set and then remelting the surface allows that to be reversed. Leaving in the mould while you apply it to the candle allows the silicone to support the piece, without damaging the relief while still allowing you to apply the appropriate pressure to ensure good adhesion.

Bought and tried these. I won’t buy them again because I had my project perfect and when I sealed it the inlay smeared everywhere.
@IronOrchidDesigns15 күн бұрын
Oh no! We do recommend that you do a spray seal or carefully roll your sealer on. I'm so sorry that happened to your project 😔
@loveisallyouneedus21915 күн бұрын
@ I watched one of the retailers paint the sealer on and she said to just do it carefully and don’t go back over it. So that’s what I did . Bad decision on my part . I will get a spray sealer and try that thank you !!

Dearest IOD ladies, confession time: I love love love the inlays BUT I find myself hoarding them instead of using them because they are so beautiful and delicate! Am I alone in this? I keep them in a special place and take them out from time to time to admire them, in anticipation of THE special project when I will finally get to use them…My collection goes back to the very first one you produced ❤😂🎉

Always waiting for the perfect opportunity though!I am soooo glad I am not alone in this! 😘🥰🌹🪷🫶 PS I love the idea of the canvas display 🖼️
