HELLOOOO!! I'm so happy to see new players trying out Lost Ark AND enjoying my content :D 1. Card Slots: Not exactly sure how many cards you should be favoriting, but you only need 6 cards to activate the Light of Salvation Set. From there, your next priority is like you mentioned: Combat Stats and Bonus vs. Demon -> these are the ones in your book collection and you need to use your card slots for those first. 2. Focus on Bonus vs. Demon first because most of the bosses we fight as demon-type currently. I wouldn't worry about any of the others until you max out demon damage. Larger %'s are a little harder to get, so I would recommend getting the smaller ones first (they are easier). However, favoriting all the cards you need doesn't hurt in the long run! 3. Combat stats like Spec, crit, swiftness are extremely important. You should focus on maxing this out completely. Thank you for watching! hump i dont know man, my TTH GS alt has been pumping thru solo raid. Even pass the stagger check in Ivory G3 that many said it is tight.

@@petetam7394 Im comparing it to the other classes im playing rn, AT machinist, artilerist, souleater, breaker and reaper. All have superior stagger,. dmg, counter and survivability. The GS counter is so horrid. I did end up switching to dominion tth as well and its better but stil not better than the rest. Asura breaker is by far the best though.

@@cleaved3453i only have a soul eater alt to compare , while i agree she is easier to counter than GS , GS is not neccesrily in a much worst position. I run a spec swift TTH, what i do for counter is removing the dash 5 meter tripod for Peacekeep since it tends to over dash , for stagger , I run AT02 grenade fire works tripod with leggo overwhelm runes and together with meteor strike and catastrophe with overwhelm runes she does pretty decent in stagger check. full swift dominion TTH is the most fun GS build but tends to run into mana issues without food , so thats why i prefer to run spec swift. Spec TTH has pretty decent burst and less sweatty to play than full swift TTH as well

i personally don't find hitmaster to be a detriment. still much better than back attackers and most of the time you just need to step/dash to the side a bit to dodge patterns before swapping to shotgun/sniper to do 2 skills with crit buff. but yeah burst class back attackers like surge also don't have much issue hitting the back even in solo mode once you get used to it either

@@atomhere I didn't mean that it's a detriment, rather, in group play it's a huge advantage to be a ranged hitmaster and losing that advantage is a bit underrated.

@@NoEditAndy a lot of FI still go entropy if they want to get more damage in group raids since that build is the top dps they can do. but yeah dom FI is more of a thing now for ease of play (similar to PS Shadowhunter).

atleast in my case, once I set it to that it will stay that way permanently until you shift again.

gravity training definitely has some issues but is a very good class in solo mode bonk bonk bonk. Reflux is definitely better imo

gravity destroyer is by far the easiest thing ive played in solo mode and its not close. i dont use fast perfect swing either, you might just be doing something wrong or idk what your ilvl is. brel/akkan/voldis are just really easy face tank bonk time, and with the front attack giving you speed buff you are gaming so hard

Yea, it can be argued all of the ones at the top which is truly the best. I put NE because of how fluid the gameplay is and damage is much stronger than DI. But the DI HP heal + constant paralysis immunity is nice!!!

You are the second person to mention CO summoner. Can you tell me why you think CO is not good for solo? Just wondering because maybe I'm missing something

@@NoEditAndy Very high APM class, and still needing to hit 3 spears and do animation cancels for skills that lock you in place all while taking boss aggro. Mechanics wise the class is not that complex. Just high effort, very clunky, 7 damage gem, relatively squishy class that does subpar damage. Imo not EZ tier or super sweaty tier, maybe somewhere in the low average.

@@NoEditAndy Also, at least for solo mode, you can just play full swift MS. It's less APM because less pets to manage, still high swift, don't have to deal with pet bugs, and you still do more damage than CO. The only tradeoff is that you have to do animation cancel for 2 skills now instead of 1, but that is worth not having to deal with the current state of CO.

Peacemaker is definitely hard to play in the beginning as you get used to the gun changes. Also, some people just click with certain classes than others. My personal belief is that mayhem and control are very good but I am looking at all the various factors in a holistic sense - that is why I rated gs above but players very well may be doing better with any of the lower classes I mentioned. Just one man's tier list I wanted to share!

just picked up a new account to try out gunslinger peacemaker and yeah at first it's tough, but as noeditandy said it's very nice once you get used to weapon swapping. the only raid i really had an issue with was clown with her due to lacking stagger when certain skills are on cd.

The back attack buff only applies the +10% crit chance and 5 dmg from landing back attacks anywhere. Stuff like entropy and ambush master dont apply unless you are actually hitting the back.

i assure you damage doesnt fall off. It will continue to fluctuate down and up based on burst timing. The only way it goes down is if I begin to not crit normally. Math also checks out I have a before and after.

@@NoEditAndy definitely not how it works. the longer the parse the more accurate the number. u finished it right as the burst ended with awakening and even less than 2 minutes of a parse. that's why it's disingenuous

When you consider that yes over time, the awakening damage will thin out within the awakening cd period, the fundamental concept of damage dealing remains the same. I burst -> get gauge (~30 seconds) -> burst -> get gauge -> etc. The only way to see what you think is the accurate number would be to get gauge for 30 seconds and then once im full then I stop the test. That would be the absolute lowest value. Hence, I mentioned that the parse would fluctuate up and down based on burst timing. So what's the right call? It's up to the player really. When I burst Brel G3 and get gauge when it phases, then burst again when cube is out of DR, my dps in terms of damage impact to boss would be extremely high vs. if I am about to burst and the boss jumps away as I turn on deathlord. Then my damage impact to boss is low. TLDR: It doesn't matter the length as long as I am hitting enough rotations both in burst and out of burst to even out crit rate. Disingenuous testing would be to burst and then stop the timer right after.

you guys are definitely new in MMORPG genre... if you think AGS is bad (they are but not that bad as alternatives...) then you are clueless... search for Gameforge, NCSoft or Nexon and look at their history of games and then come back - AGS are going the same way as others but it's still far road ahead ^^

@@NoEditAndyyeah but to be honest with you i have lost all hope after the 100% bound gold they did yesterday. A couple things they need to do : Support for people to be comfortably move to T4 , not just some weak event elixirs. But with heavy mats and honing nerf, buff rate of elixir and trancendence. Heavy nerf group NM raid to make it way more casual friendly. Keep the HM for hardcore. Make solo raid a viable path. Some bound gold is good but can not be 100% bound. But here is the cluless AGS we talked about. They only take the bad stuff from Tencent but not the good.

Bound Gold for solo dungeon is totally fine. Just so you can progress past 1540. Cant afford anything decent from the AH anyway. Gems and accessories are just way to expensive.

@@dominikb9202not really, by your argumemt , why dont we double the gold in earn in latest group raid but make it full bound to help “progression”. I am sure we will see 100% uproar . Yeah stuff are expensive, but people that like solo can do it slowly , what is the point in a raid focus game that a single gold earn from raid not used in AH , this even worst than the KR implementation. They have to realize at this point solo mode is also a legit mode that brings player back, and can not treat it with an elitist attude “to learn the raid” . A lot of people are sick of the pug toxicity already, but again this game gatekeeping and toxic is by design, so I am not surprised. The real reason they want people to group up is not that they want you to have fun, they want people to suffer and compete in pug , so they are forced to swipe and gear up.

that's like asking players to waste gold. it's more efficient right now for newer players with no upgrades on their stronghold to do lifeskills, sell their mats and buy from the mari's shop. but wait, mari's shop is limited in the number of orehas they can get. so craft orehas instead you say? no it's more efficient for them to sell mats and buy from the AH! just get the upgrades for the stronghold you say? oh no, the new players will need to spend months to upgrade their stronghold level for the upgrades to be available and even then they are missing the stronghold structure that founders and players who bought the limited time christmas structure have. orehas are convoluted for no goddamn reason. the only reason you had no issues with them while you played the last few years is because AGS was lax with bot bans. since AGS is being more active with bot banning now, however the newer players are getting screwed over with the bound gold changes.

@@atomhere i remember having an issue with orehas but that was just because I was being cheap. Not only that but I wanted to push my 20th character. If people play the game normally with only 6 slots they would have no issue to spend on oreha.

@@TheEddy115 I agree players with developed rosters may as well start focusing on one character now in preparation for T4 anyways. but that's assuming the player you're talking about has a roster of 6 characters already. I'm testing a fresh account right now to see what the new player experience is like and I'll tell you, just running solo raids and life skilling is just not a great experience. that account currently has 1 powerpass and express character at 1540 and another at 1460 to help get weekly una tokens and event coins. the express character is now bottlenecked by gold and orehas and will likely take months to even get to 1610 (I'll keep testing this solo mode only account to see how a new player may experience this game up until 1610). after experiencing this myself I wouldn't suggest playing lost ark to anyone. a new player having to spend so much time to even start doing a raid 2 released behind is insane. lower ilvl honing using up so many orehas is one of the many issues for new players to catch up to the endgame. hopefully express and powerpass events after T4 won't make new players have to go through all of T3 to get into T4.

SG isn't the one deciding to make these changes in china. it is Tencent since they got an editor contract for lost ark instead of a distributor contract like AGS has.

I don't know about destroying, but I think they can give a little bit more than 750. If not, lower the oreha requirements. It is too expensive.

i honestly don't know what you're on about. they are giving out free oreha boxes left and right and it makes no dent on the marketplace prices. you know why? one honing session can easily use up even 800 oreha fusion mats.

They usually always get good contracts where they can actually make the changes they want, AND they actually have ppl who can code which means they can make changes themselves without waiting on SG. Also, you act like AGS has never preemptively nerfed something to make it easier for us. Do y’all realize how insane the Thaemine nerfs (that no other region has btw) that we got are? I feel like you guys always gloss over that for some reason. They made the hardest raid, even g4, WAY easier than it is in Korea. But we’re mad bc they didn’t have the foresight to know so many ppl would struggle in echidna? With korea telling us daily how easy echidna is, noone knew out region would struggle with gimmicks when we’re casually slaying thaemine 1-3 lol. Can’t really put that on amazon but the fact that they are nerfing it still says a lot.

@@Vezuls I guess Amazon is not huge either. Also, I do not gloss over thaemine nerfs, but they are highly inconsistent. Keep in mind, we didn't have as much time to build our characters like Korea has. I'm pretty sure they should have "known" that our characters were much weaker.

Also, Saint made a good point based on that misconception, so I’ll quickly Highlight the bullet points. Korea did have more time than we did, but we had a lot of nerfs and systems made easier which kind of bridges the gap. Not to mention most of our rosters are WAY better than most of korea’s rosters at the same time. They’re helping newer players/lower ilvl players, but it’s never enough in the eyes of the community. We got elixir changes same day as korea which is huge. Transendence cost nerfs AND pity nerfs same day as Korea. These things matter a lot

Where did you find this "access to big funds that Amazon has"? Hearsay? Give me actual budget documentation if you are in the finance department working at Amazon. Our roster better "WAY" better? How so? Provide examples. Also, I never said AGS is doing nothing. In fact, the very first thing I say in the video is giving them credit where credit is due. However, while we are going in the right direction, the current issues I mention in Lost Ark are only the tip of the iceberg. I ask that you have more empathy. I am a player that doesn't need elixir or transcendence nerf. I don't need fusion materials and I do lifeskills. I don't need free handouts. What I do need to see is AGS communicate with their playerbase about how they are addressing the issues plaguing Lost Ark for all players.

I don't agree that new players shouldn't reach 1620 fast. established players have a full roster to help them make gold and farm materials, but new players will only have their express event characters (we only get express characters every 3 months or so) so even if the new player doesn't expand their roster size, that means they will need to spend 1 whole year and 6 months to have a built up roster. that is an insane amount of time to expect from a new player to catch up to a veteran.

@@atomhere it's a lot of "i did so you have to do it" mentality that I'm seeing. So sad that we can't think more progressively.

@@NoEditAndy by the way I agreed with a lot of what you said in the video, but I need to say the hate on the basic life energy potion was weird. we almost never get these in event shops. this is probably due to bots possibly abusing them like you said. however limiting actual players, some of which may enjoy life skilling or wants to save up potions for the T4 life skilling changes, is a bad take. this is like when AGS put up AH limitations or added the trusted system (which is still screwing over new players to this day) due to botting. don't design the game or event around botters, but rather ban them as quickly as is reasonable and give the players something to enjoy in whatever way they want to enjoy the game.

@@atomhere I do say in the video that I'd rather have unlimited stronghold farm with the potions as long as you have the potions. I did not hate on potions more so their inconsistencies with having bound gold implemented and then having potions with it.
