I get this, but the fabric that ends up being pulled in between each breast gives the impression of a uniboob. And Ive found that unless I bind as flat as I can or use tape, I will have immense dysphoria due to the uniboob effect

You don't need to open all of the pockets. Indeed if you don't plan on using some of them leave those pockets closed as they'll last better closed.

Really wish I could do this, I’m going to the pool today. My parents think of me as a girl (I’m non-binary) so they only buy afab swimwear- the only thing holding me up is swim shorts and shorts in general. Long term they don’t really hold up well. My first GC2B binder from 2021 when their quality dipped has several areas including almost a full strap that is see-through. They also stretch out super quickly.
