Thanks for the video, sir! 😊 I hope I'm not causing any inconvenience, but would it be possible for you to kindly share the initial and final volumes for HCl and NaOH? It would be a tremendous help for my assignment. Your response to this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much! 🙏

Is any difference in abs reading if we put aero side to left direction...??
@isugenchemlabtutorials3932
@isugenchemlabtutorials3932 Жыл бұрын
No. As long as the cuvette was positioned the same way for the blank and solutions measurements, there should be no difference in absorbance readings.

Nice video. One detail that I didn't see mentioned (maybe I missed it) is that when the delivery of liquid is finished, a small quantity of liquid will remain in tip. One should not attempt to shake or blow out this small amount of liquid. The pipette is calibrated to *deliver* the stated volume (not *contain* the stated volume), and it is calibrated with that drip remaining in the tip. A good experiment for students is to see, empirically, how much difference it makes by weighing what is delivered with and without that small additional volume being shaken out. Obviously, the *relative* error will be larger for pipettes of smaller indicated volume (e.g., 5-mL vs 50-mL).

Does this unit have any sort of graphical USB interface for PC? Is there any software available that provides a larger format, more detailed, full-spectrum absorbance graph on a connected PC..? 🤔 Or, is the onboard LCD screen it..?
