Hi Juliana. I'm so hoping you can help me. I bought a Hampton Art Rose stamp set SC0754 and can not get them to line up correctly. I have tried numerous times without success. Please please help me otherwise this stamp will have to go. It is such a lovely stamp and i want to use it. Thank you. Hugs xxx Wendy

the butterfly looks pretty simple to line up for the layered stamping. why don't you demonstrate how to do the multi-layer roses? they don't look as easy to align...they are symmetrical, like the butterfly. are there any floral examples? can you do the darkest image first on the floral images and get similar results?

Hi Juliana. Just bought some Hampton Art stamps today number SCO754. I thought buying clear stamps would be easy to line up but I'm having a lot of trouble. any tips please please please. Hugs and luvs

I have not had a lot of experience with Hampton Art before BUT after purchasing 6 of these ink pad sets to go with some of the layering stamps I'm disappointed. So far 3 of the cubes have had the ink pads come unattached on the second use. This is a really high portion of stamps for how many I purchased. Also, there is no way to identify the ink colors so even if I wanted to buy more, I can't because I'm not sure which ones I own and which ones I don't? There is room for improvement on these products in my opinion.

Is this only used for clear stamps or can rubber stamps be used? Sorry if this is a stupid question 😃

I'm so glad I got this version before it was pulled, bc there is no way I'd purchase the MISTI (any version) the price is just too high for an average crafter. The creator of the MISTI should have faith in her design & her core followers. If she did, she wouldn't care about the competition. Apparently she hasn't heard the adage, Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Also, the high dollar price tag isn't enough for the creator, she also needs the money from suing the competition. If early creators, Such as Henry Ford felt as she did we'd all be driving Fords! Competition is healthy!

I don't understand all the comments about "copying". We don't all buy the "original" maker's car, blue jeans, white t-shirts, shoes, light bulbs, shampoo, soap, toothbrush or toothpaste. This is business, people. It's not copying or else Misti could sue for copyright infringement. It's called an affordable option. Hampton Arts probably recognized that they could monopolize off the fact that the Misti is overpriced for what it is/does.

I am very grateful for the fact that there is an alternative for those of us who can't afford the Misti. With a coupon, these can be less than $15. That's quite a price difference, and it allows those of us on limited income to have some nice products, also.

@melbakelso79318 жыл бұрын
Great product for the frugal crafter and also I like that it can do the same as the Misti just at a cost effective price. All companies out there mimic each other in one way or another so instead of bashing how about letting everyone get a piece of the pie. No one complains about crafters who make their own home made ones due to the prices. Lets all try to support each other regardless. Everyone has choices to purchase or not to purchase, but in the end what may not benefit one person benefits the other. God Bless

If you're going to create something don't make an exact a copy of someone else's product. The only things that we're changed were the size of the product and the color. This is a shameless exact copy of a wonderful product. I cannot support a company that does this shameless copying. I will not buy this or any other product from Hampton Art in the future.

Unfortunately and fortunately every invented product ever invented is subject to modified versions being made by others. I'm sure that the original MFG has copy right protections. This product is so simplistic it appears that only the dimensions would vary. That being said, most products that come after an original idea can have new features, functions, sizes, improved price points etc. I'd support them, as long as it's not a black market situation. Look at the many Die and Stamp, markers, water colors companies....theres room for them all.

Hey Everyone ...just to let you know, The Stamp Perfect is available at all the major craft retailers as well as at Notions and many of your local craft dealers!
@candacekieper43548 жыл бұрын
Have a Misti love it although it may be more cost effective havent checked prices it is almost the size of the one I have saw another company who does have two sides open so allowing for larger scrapbooking pages but no magnetic back, magnets etc. the idea of a copy is to improve something in my book this is just a copy and grid on mine is etched in not printed on which on misti originals came off after multiple use again a step backwards
@livingtheveganlife26238 жыл бұрын
Although I thought the Misti was pretty cool, I wasn't going to spend so much money on it, thanks for coming out with a less cost effective product.

+Deborah Anne ...yes this is available in Canada. My local craft store in Nanaimo, BC (Crafty Capers) is selling it. She also has the MISTI. (She has a website and a FB page). I doubt I will buy another one. Have the orig MISTI...and I love it. +Mary Wilkinson has a good point. I understood (too) that retailers had to jump through hoops to be able to sell the MISTI. Competition is good....and time will test this product to see if it stands up like the MISTI does. We sometimes get what we pay for.
@deborahanne97938 жыл бұрын
thank you, I actually would have boughten the Misti except I am more interested in the size of the Stamp Perfect. I like the size of it. I see it is now available at Michaels and I can use a 50% coupon so I will try it for the lower price than the Misti. Do you find that the door that opens and closes on your Misti squeaks? Thank you
@sharonnesvog42698 жыл бұрын
+Deborah Anne ....I haven't had a problem with the door of my MISTI squeaking...at least not yet!! :) It looks like the HA Stamp Perfect tool is a very comparable/compatible product....with an excellent price point! Happy Stamping!! ☺
@marywilkinson24678 жыл бұрын
I would like to say .... Yes, it is just the same as a MISTI, Yet,... I would like to point out that it is a size that MISTI doesn't offer! It is a great size! I have also learned that other dealers that were interested in selling MISTI's had a VERY hard time being able to jump through the hoops to sell it, so now maybe that will be the selling issue. There are some other ones out there that have copied MISTI completely. I have my MISTI and love it but I will have to say that this one offers something that MISTI doesn't! Not everyone can afford the other price, so this is a great alternative!
@StampingButterflySherrywayt8 жыл бұрын
Would be great except it's a copy of the Misti. I own 3 Misti's and regardless of the cost I would never support a copy . Very sad to see this, the design wasn't even changed just a flat out copy other than color.
@vickiesilverman32888 жыл бұрын
Stamping Butterfly I think it's great for those of us on a budget and can't afford to pay $60.00 for the misti. I got mine at Michaels, they sell this for $24.99 and I used a 50% off coupon. Why would you want to spend more money on something just because of the name? This product is great.
@laurasutton15517 жыл бұрын
Stamping Butterfly it's bigger

They stole MISTI's design, infringed on her patent. They sell it cheaper because they don't have to recoup R&D fees. People pay top dollar for Apple products...same thing
@ginaarmstrong13887 жыл бұрын
It's the business! All companies do this!
@PinkyFruitcake6 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately this is life. Anything you create will be copied by others; especially if it's successful! I looked into the Misti but it was far too expensive for me. Also, just because Misti produced it, doesn't mean they first came up with the idea. There are lots of variations out there; but also there is only so much you can change about a product before losing the original purpose. I understand how you feel - because I feel the same about some originals I bought. But this is not a bad thing - it allows so many other people to stamp within their budget. If card making was my business, I'd invest in the best but original isn't always better...

This looks like an exact copy of the Misti tool that has been on the market for over a year. :(
@kimreed51508 жыл бұрын
Agreed!, I certainly hope that MySweetPetunia has a patent on her design. While I love Hampton Art products and saving some bank on crafty supplies I don't like to see such an obvious copy of someone else's brilliant design (despite the fact that I paid 3 times the price for mine for what this one goes for!).
@julielynn868 жыл бұрын
Wholeheartedly agree. I am happy that I purchased several of the MISTIs. I hate to see a company copying someone else's brilliance. Sucks.
