I love the strange creatures and doodles that you get in medieval books, where the monk or priest writing them probably got a bit bored and decided to draw something to amuse themselves, and the colours are always vibrant, 100s of years later. In regards to the trolls, there is a youtube channel that is talking trash about pagans and witches which unfortunately has a following. There is a lady who lives in my home town who had a problem with them and their videos give me bad vibes - I'd rather watch the people who make me happy and have nice and positive things to say about their craft than those who put people down. Keep doing what you do, keep making videos. If it's something that brings you joy and and brings happiness to others then you are doing great.

I do that when I’m taking notes in meetings, doodle weird little animals and stuff 😆 As for the trolls, I literally just have to remind myself their lives are so miserable and they’re such pathetic creatures that actually they’re actually getting a dose of the poison they spew out already and I don’t have to take it in!! Right??

For the silky string bindings- a little bit of glue on the knot should help keep it together. I know it works with elastic cord for beaded jewelry.
@correganthecroneАй бұрын
Unfortunately the knots are in between the cover and the inner spine, so I can’t get to them to glue them. It’s the downside to a hidden binding, you get one shot, and if you screw it up there’s no fixing it 🤣 But I very much appreciate the advice 😘🩷
@jenniferscraftiworksart428316 күн бұрын
@ that makes perfect sense! I think I shared that mostly for future reference if you want to use the silkier thread again in the future. Maybe even an experiment on using different materials for binding?

Bonsoir "The corrigan the crone." Bonne semaine Alexandra . Sylvie B

Thank you! Yes, big countries, diverse climates! I ended up with a job pretty much exactly the same, but with a company I previously worked for. It was the universe giving me a second chance to go back to them, as I had turned them down a year before. It was just meant to be!

I was talking to my partner about the shifting of the seasons the other day, and I've come to the conclusion that it has nothing to do with a fixed date on the calendar, though for some reason in the past twenty years or so people have got the idea into their heads that winter starts at the winter solstice, spring starts at the spring equinox, summer starts at the summer solstice, autumn starts at the autumn equinox... I've found these start when you notice changes in the environment, like for instance, this August, I noticed that the trees were starting to change and so that to me was the start of autumn, this week, I noticed that the moon was in the sky during the day time when I was taking my dog out for a walk and I saw the constellation Orion for the first time since last February (or whereabouts) The change in day length has been noticeable now for about a month... We only get the moon being visible during the day in the winter, and for where I am, Orion is a constellation of winter, so I consider this to be the start of winter, even though via the calendar standards, it's still autumn. Seasons change from one to another when you notice the changes - the Wheel is a nice guide, but the exact timing of it is not 'fixed'.
@correganthecroneАй бұрын
Absolutely!!!! We all live in different microclimates, and the seasons shift differently every year anyway. We should all just celebrate or enjoy the changes as we notice them, not by a date on the calendar. In Australia, the “official” seasonal dates are the 1st September for Spring, 1st December for summer etc. and they’re ALWAYS so wrong!!!

I've had Pagan and witchy saints for as long as I can remember -- I think I got the idea from the Gnostic Saints of Thelema -- and I write about them occasionally in my grimoires and journals but I'd never thought to make them their own devotional book or candles! Your work is always so inspiring! I'm definitely going to create some devotional art for them in my art grimoire. Some of my saints are legendary and historical figures; my pop-culture saints are Hermione Granger, Sirius Black, Sailor Moon/Princess Serenity, Inara Serra, She-Ra, Peter Pan, and Wendy Darling. :)

I love the idea of a personal kitchen grimoire for recipes! That's so sweet and homey. One day I'll have to sit with my usual culprit recipes and see what I can work out. I just grabbed a couple thin board books from Dollar Tree, and one has crecent cutouts on the pages. I'm not sure what I'm doing with that one yet, but it had to come home with me for magical purposes!

Sylvie B
@correganthecroneАй бұрын
Thank you so much dear friend!!! 🩷 That’s so interesting that you say that about the crepes! That is the opposite of the experience I had living in France, and also from my French friends here in Australia, which has been that they should be not sweetened in the batter! Perhaps it’s a more modern idea? Or could it be regional? Obviously I’m not French, so have just taken the word of the people I know!
@pierretreuil8543Ай бұрын
@@correganthecrone . Bon Week end . Sylvie B 🥰
