Lived in NYC for three years. Always made sure I always had at least 50 bucks in cash just in case I found myself somewhere. Character in After Hours found himself in a similar situation as well.

With all respect I do not believe that Joe was gonna be made ever. In fact Sonny Black and others knew he was not okay and became a problem. He should be lucky to be alive. RIP all those that lost their lives.

As a 14 year old who read a whole thriller book for the first time, I really really enjoyed it. The storytelling was just incredible. Sometimes I just lost track of time and read for hours. It was never getting boring. Couldn’t get enough : )

I'm 32 and a writer of teen/YA fantasy. I've enjoyed these books and have looked forward to finally finding out how it all ends. HOWEVER,.... after reading only a portion of Unraveled, I've decided I won't finish the book and probably won't finish the series. I may NEVER buy a shannon messenger book again. She's talking about all these kids, but unraveled is NOT KID-FRIENDLY. I know many people won't agree with me, and I'll get hate in the comments, but she threw in random LGBTQ stuff. After all these years of good, clean books that just about any kid can read and enjoy, now she thought she had to add in that stuff. I'm certainly not suggesting these books to my kids because they won't be finishing the series. Therefore, I won't even suggest they start it. It's so sad. Very disappointed and frustrated. After all these years of wanting to know what happens. I'm not a homophobe. But I am a follower of Jesus and His Word, and will continue to protect my children in this sad world we live in. I've read MANY disappointed reviews, and hope shannon messenger learns a lesson in this. 😢

Watching a crime show once I inadvertently heard a few horrible seconds of the audio that monster Bodicker recorded of one of his victims. It was beyond heartbreaking and horrifying. Thank you Mr. Douglas for all you’ve done to help get justice for these poor girls and their families.

Hey RA. How do you feel about Drizzt being problematic according to the current woke generation because of his skin color? Those of us who think the outrage is stupid would love to know your feelings on the current state of woke effect on writing or fixing current books...

Mr Williams, It is such a delight to hear you talk about your novels. I am currently reading Time of the Child having found your first two books profoundly touching. I recommend your books to all of my reader friends. So glad to know that we are guaranteed more time in Faha in the future.

This was such a warm cozy cottage core book. It was a breath of fresh air from fantasy books with wars and deaths and heart wrenching sadness (not that they aren't good, just was nice to have a change of pace) This book filled me with laughter and made me not want to leave this world that was created when I turned the last page. It's such a safe feeling book to just get lost in with enough adventures that it never becomes mundane. I love the sense of community and the character growth. This is easy my new recommendation to anyone who will listen (or won't). 😁 So glad this book was written!

My wife and I detested this book. The author makes the Renaissance characters sound like extras from a Quentin Tarantino film. One woman in the novel leers at a male, in the same way that the millennial males leer at young girls. A disingenuous piece of trash.
