ソチオリンピックに出るために挑んだカナダ大会の映像ですね。当時大ファンでしたが、このシーズン彼は靴が合わなくて ジャンプに非常に苦戦しました。オリンピック代表に選ばれるかどうかギリギリでしたので、代表に選ばれてホッとした のを覚えています。彼はソチでカナダチーム団体戦のフリーを滑り、パトリック・チャンたちのおかげもあり銀メダルを 手にしました。本当にギリギリの危ないコンディションだったのでハラハラしっぱなしでした。でも良かった。

I remember her. That beautiful outfit. I thought she looked like one of those old Hollywood movie stars, so elegant. So very sad. Her baby boy will grow up without her. 😢 I hate it when young people are taken from this world too soon. Just heartbreaking.🥺

He glides very well, but he is very stiff with the upper part of his body and his arms, his face shows no emotions and often he finishes too late or before the music. Besides he makes too many mistakes when he jumps. I am not surprised he is not an Olympic champion.

OK, so you have the right to your opinion, I can respect that, but have you been following the Grand Prix series this year (2014 - 2015), so far they have been definite gong shows from one to another, it is a joke. On the GP Bompard, I witnessed a sixth placer in the short program won the entire event because the top five so called talented failed to land majority of the jumps, they literally failed to perform. Did you watch the GP Cup of China - well that took figure skating into a new level, we can now consider figure skating as a contact sport. So if you think all of Chan's mistakes on here are significant, then you are in for a criticism galore, even Hanyu isn't cutting it for me this year. Maybe they have forgotten that this is the senior level. What a joke.
