This year I revisited a song, that I gave up on learning a few years ago. It has a stretch that seemed impossible. It's still really hard to get, but sometimes it works. Practice definitely helped me and I'm sure your fingers will stretch further if you make it a regular part of your practice. You can start the exercise on a higher fret and gradually move towards the lower ones. Happy practice!
