Is it just an HDMI to USB-C chord connecting the iPad to the Xbox? Did u use a specific app?

There is an app called Orion that does this, the only extra hardware you need is a usbc capture card

Right. I have apps Orion and HDMI. I have seen the hdmi to usb C cords but to be honest, I’m not sure if they work the same. I’m using a standard hdmi with a capture card, hdmi to usb c

Sorry if this is to dumb of a question but did you set it up while in front of your ps5 before going on the road? I ask cuz gotta make sure remote play is enabled with the ps5

If you did.. is the ps5 on WiFi? If yes, I strongly recommend you wire the ps5 directly to your internet for a better connection

Last, make sure your internet box in the truck has a good solid connection. I’ve had trouble with mine too

Ohhh and make sure your ps5 is in rest mode. Recent power outages turned mine off and I couldn’t connect. I needed to come come and turn it back on and set it to rest mode.. almost forgot that one

What wifi do you have at home connected to your ps5? I have the t mobile home internet at home connected to the ps5 and use my iphone hotspot from t mbile for the portal but the picture quality is terrible.

T Mobile has home internet.. it’s 5G unlimited.. the portal hot spot is coo because it doesn’t have to get plugged in but it does cap out. I use the home one and plug it in my truck. Works pretty good for me

I get an error message too sometimes.. I turn off the screen and turn it back on and it usually works after that. Let me know if any of this helps

I have my PlayStation 5 connected with an Ethernet cable to my Cox internet at home. The T Mobile home internet is in my truck and I use my PlayStation Portal on the T Mobile internet. That the best way I’ve been able to use it. Hope that helps. Sorry for the late response

I did T MOBILE home internet with my ps5 for a while. It worked ok. Had some issues with fast paced games but other than that it was cool. My modem had ports to connect the ps5 directly.. if yours has that and you can connect it directly, I would strongly recommend that! Makes a big difference

That input lag would drive me crazy. You flick a direction and there's a noticeable delay. Not terrible but it's noticeable. I hope you enjoy it.

The input delay would drive me crazy. When you moved the stick it takes a little while before you actually turn.
