Meghan just didn’t like the responsibility of being a royal. She’s always had her own way. Guess she didn’t consider that when she married into the family. It’s a shame that she caused this mess and then blamed everyone else. I have no respect for her. She’s an actress!!! Hard to know what is really going on in her head. She divided the RF.

The idea that cutting government waste would, by definition, harm public services is exactly the kind of juvenile, and utterly misleading, statements made to deliberately try marginalise Labor opponents. Frankly the proposal that any government spends every dollar wisely is far more widely held. Certainly, the majority know governments are profligately wasteful of taxpayer dollars. And are far more likely to support cuts to government spending than this Labor MP realises.

Yes. I have worked in spite of public servants and as we are now at the point where one in five employed Australians is employed by the Govt, a 20 percent cut would be a good starting point. We have reached the stage where the public service is really just seen as a higher paid version of the dole, with a limited mutual obligation. The taxpayer can only carry so many freeloaders at a time.

Government great at running up debt, Musk great at making money and cutting waste. Wonder who'd I'd trust. Him, or the person worried about her cushy job.

The average worker only gets $24 per hour. If you’re a part time worker it’s the same as the jobseeker payment on Centrelink. Pathetic! 🤮

We get over $50 an hour at a woolworths DC. That doesn't include 60% loading on Saturdays and double pay on Sundays. Days in Lieu for public holidays we aren't rostered on, free BBQ's, celebrating every single event with free food, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Wear it purple day, Chinese New Year, Melbourne cup etc. It isn't performance based either. Great place to work, they just want the same rights we have

They make billions in profits and the customers and workers pay for it ! I know they have to make money for shareholders but when it’s in the billions, that is really taking the piss and we still pay more at the checkout. I think some of that profit could be used for better discounts on everyday staples especially in these times.
