I remember as a child singing with the Youth Delegation Choir. When he lead the song “Come to me” there was never a dry eye. 30 years later I am still listening to this CD. A few years ago my choir director gave me this song to sing. I am so sorry to hear that he has passed. Ernie, Bilal, and The Youth Delegation Choir inspired me to sing with choirs.

I know people will dislike what I have to say. Puberty did a number on his voice. I didn't expect him to stay in the Soprano range, but he could have been a good Tenor. Naw it went straight to Bass. That head and whistles tone was the last to go. Yes he can still sing very well and he is still anointed, but I just wish he had some how kept some range.

He’s good. People think playing a tambourine is just hitting but it’s not. You don’t play a tambourine for every song either.

Beautiful & uplifting singing. Elegant looking group. Next time, plz encourage singers in background to have a more pleasant countenance when singing /not singing. Typically, the males look more pleasant. Praise God for his faithfulness, mercies & love. Ps Towards end of soloist performance he incorporated too many distracting riffs, runs & flourish. Some words got lost in the performative/ some off beat riffs runs flourish, et cetera.
