What’s the weight? Trying to compare this to LMX, boxxbike etc… thanks

Do you know how many amps the controller puts out? I think it would help to know that when looking for a spare battery. I can't find specs of motor torque or amp output anywhere.
@warrenbarry15625 ай бұрын
The battery that came with the bike should have a sticker on it that says what its specs are. If getting another battery, order it from the bike manufacturer, bike distributor, or order one to match the specs on the battery. I got my SEM bike(s) and extra batteries from "Motoclops" in Colorado, you could call them to order a replacement/extra.

@@warrenbarry1562 oh okay. Thanks. I'm just trying to look up specs for this bike and see if there are replacement parts available since the place I was thinking about buying it from his clearing them out and not carrying them anymore.

“Fast” forward riding. 😂
@warrenbarry15622 жыл бұрын
There is no fast forwarding in the video, that's the original/true video speed.
@warrenbarry15622 жыл бұрын
I just watched your race videos, you could ride this trail at the same speed, no roots or rocks, just sandy woops with sweeping turns, and 4 wheeler width throughout. Nothing difficult for someone use to riding sand, just fast and very fun.

The one at the bottom/south side of the green loop. I do not remember what it's called, check the forest trail map. Its on a dirt/graded road.

Great video. Was it hard packed or that soft sugar sand?
@warrenbarry15624 жыл бұрын
Almost everything in the Ocala Forest is sugar sand if you are not on a graded or paved road.

What trail is the first part of the video? Looks like a rockier version of Trail 30.
@warrenbarry15625 жыл бұрын
I don't know, but it was a trail that connected to a paved road on the SE side, and was in the general area of trails BDimond28/Blue30/G8. It starts at a paved road, and is uphill heading N/NW. There is a split just after exiting the paived road that gives two options to get to the top of the long hill, and there is a graded type road at the top. It might have been Blue29/Blue 30 going up to G8?

I have been to windrock park 3 times and each time we find new trails. And I have to do some harder ones because my dad rides a side by side and I ride A 150cc Yamaha for wheeler. Here soon I am getting a polaris ace it's like a forweeler and a side by side mixed I have a dirt bike it's in my profile pic but I don't like riding it because I am fat and I look funny on it. Nice video btw.

I remember when there was like 3k miles of trails in ocala. Then they shut the forest down to riding and gave us 240 miles of trails with a 25mph speed limit.

Definitely need to be in the advanced group hahaa hay what is the surface like? Looks bumpy but idk could be the breakneck speeds! Nice riding. N yea was thinking bout going there in the winter when the Dragon is basically closed for business.
@warrenbarry15626 жыл бұрын
Surface is good, one section has some patching, but nothing you can't go around/between. Most of the shaking you see is due to the wind blowing the gopro around.

Nice riding, r u local? Keep it in you lane very good for those speeds. Yea the traffic. But you made short work of it. Is that a 1 or 6? Wt gear u doing the switch backs in? Thx have good rest of the season
@warrenbarry15626 жыл бұрын
Thanks. No, not local, from Florida. R6. Not sure what gear, I never know what gear I'm in, whatever feels and sounds right (motor sound) at the time based on the speed and acceleration I'm after.

how long the trail or laps u do? awesome!
@warrenbarry15626 жыл бұрын
Depends, if its not a race, whatever we feel like. Hair Scramble races are typically 4 to 5 laps, commonly 9 miles per lap. Enduros are usually 60 to 80 miles long.

Hopefully. I would love to go to this race again. The fun factor of this race was up there with Gatorback, the two best hair scrambles in the state. I liked the Hardrock hair scramble when I was in high school years ago (showing my age). Loved the Hard Easy options at this/your race, and the jumps, please keep those. Also loved all the ups and downs, was like riding a roller coaster that you had control of, was great.

very cool video . AWESOME riding skills from these guys. 80% of Ocala is DEEP SOFT SAND!!!! Notice they are riding small bore /super light bikes? The sand will wear you out fast!!
@warrenbarry15627 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comments. We are riding 4 stroke 250's. A 450 motocross/endure bike would work just as well, but I would not personally want to ride an adventure bike in it, that type of bike would likely be heavy and hard to ride in it.
@Jake-tt6mk7 жыл бұрын
Any worries with leaving your trucks behind, does it feel pretty legit there ...safe? Also, one of my bikes is a BMW R1200 GS Adventure ...the big ugly bastards with the metal panniers, anyway do you think it`s wide enough for something like that? Looks to be based on your video, just wanted to get you opinion. Thanks for the video, cheers!
@warrenbarry15627 жыл бұрын
They have designated parking areas for riding the trails, so unless you ride in on a tagged bike, that is what the options for parking look like. I would not leave it unlocked, or leave anything real valuable sitting out in the open while your out riding, but I have never had issues with leaving the truck parked before. Most trails in the Ocala forest (the designated trails) are wide enough for an adventure bike. Most of them are wide enough for at least a 4-wheeler to go down, some wide enough for a side-by-side. They do have one loop that is for motorcycles only, you could probably get around that one on a adventure bike also if you are ok with scratches. There are some trails in this video that a 4-wheeler might have difficulty getting through though, those approx. 2/3rd the way through the video. The trails in the Ocala Forest are almost always deep sugar sand which would probably be difficult to ride on a heavy adventure bike, I'm not sure, I've never ridden one of those before. They ride them in Dakar though, so if your good at riding the bike, you would probably be fine. If you plan to ride in on it though, be sure to research the area first, the Ocala forest is huge, you need to know where to get gas at, how far away it is, and how to get there. There is also often times no cell phone reception in the forest. If you run out of gas or break down, and you rode in on your bike, you might be spending the night with the bears. I would recommend trailering/trucking in the bike.

Wow ...thanks man, really appreciate you taking the time to bring me (and your fellow riders) up to speed on the place! The heads-up on the sugar sand especially, as that`s pretty much worse case scenario on the big bikes! Roughly nine gallons of fuel obviously helps in the range department, but it really makes them top heavy as well, that and fully loaded panniers! So based on your advice I`ll have to rethink this a bit ...in other words, how can I convince my wife that another bike is warranted, and do it in such a way as to not risk the loss of sex, and food ...my bed etc.? Thanks again, cheers!!
