Place them sliced thinner and roasted on artisan bread covered with goat cheese and lay the persimmons on top with some broken pecans add a little fresh thyme and a little drizzle of honey. 😋

This video is several years old so I don't know if you know currently, but are restaurants in Jordan progressive enough to have carb counts on their menus or available on request? I'm travelling to Jordan and Egypt 2 weeks from now and take insulin depending on how many carbs I'm eating. It would be easier to know than to blindly guess at the carbs. My phone app doesn't have any Mediterranean foods on it.

My neighbor has a tree and harvests his before they are fully ripe because the squirrels love the fully ripe ones. I didn't know what to do with them, so they kept ending up in the compost bin. Your video changed all that. These are so delicious and so simple to prepare! My wife was skeptical, but she cleaned her plate and made sure I saved those leftovers. Thanks again!

Forgot to add that I tossed them in a stainless steel bowl with some avocado oil to coat. Then seasoned with Afghan Shamali pepper (garlic powder, ground green peppercorns, ground coriander and ground cardamom) to which I added just a touch of sugar. Tossed again to mix well, then spread on a baking sheet and baked at 375 until the skins were a bit charred. Really, really good. And your instructions made it really simple. Thanks again. My wife wants me to make this as a side dish for Thanksgiving.
