Yes and no. I’d say training, eating right and routine became more dominant. Some just played in tournaments and that’s how they did their training and workouts. But the generation who fought in WW2 some came out as top athletes like Ted Williams. So I’d say the technology and eating became better and understand eating right became a major part of
