I have heard priests quote this at the beginning of their sermons for around 70 years.

God’s Word is perfect. Thanks for this reminder- even @ 70 years old I’m learning this. After serving as a pastor for 16.5 years, I did this following a 25 year career in public service- we put the house up for sale - did not sell 🤷🏼♂️ - God has us waiting and we are working & serving as we wait…..but I’m ready to go! Learning to wait.

and moses took 32000 women as slaves and had to divide them evenly with his people and even give some to specific people "for the lord" so god himself wanted some of them. what a good guy

Bible’s fear is not human fear. Fear is basically honoring GOD.

Mathew wasn't really named Mathew, and never met Jesus. He wrote that gospel many decades after Jesus was executed, and there is no reason to think it accurately represents anything in actual history.

I can speak to the validity of this idea. I’ve experienced it first hand and am still living its truth today. The failure of some of my ideas/hopes/dreams ended up being important parts of the best things in my life coming to be. And I believe maintaining faith throughout the good and the bad was a significant part of that.

First response when you asked this question was, I would just do it and get it over with! But when it comes to the harsh reality of doing things I don't want to do, I usually put it aside and do it later. Very good video, thought provoking and insightful. Well done once again!

This one hit right where I needed today. Thank you for this video. I think one of the reasons I love my job is because of the many positive relationships I have made through there. P. S. The Mizzou mug is a nice addition!

Loved the video, loved the message of the video. And I like that it's short and sweet! I don't always have 20 minutes to watch a video. I'm a chronic worrier...just like my Dad, so I guess you could say i come by it honestly? lol. I subscribed and I look forward to more Mundane Monday Moments!

Rebecca Besaw - thanks Rebecca! It has been a fun project. But, definitely a work in progress too. Thanks for subscribing! And hope to continue providing 'thoughts' that connect on an otherwise mundane Monday in the weeks ahead ;o)
