I believe the pairing of the video camera with the cine camera was originally used by Gerry Anderson in producing his Supermarionation series. First used on Fireball XL5 to give the director a "Puppet's eye" view of the action. This was back around 1962.

This is my first time seeing this, but I feel like I’ve seen that particular Simpsons design of Oprah somewhere before. Like on a Simpsons character card and I have a blurry memory of seeing a black woman character on one of the cards and it looked like that Oprah. Maybe it was Dr. Hibbert’s wife lol I don’t even know if those cards actually existed, but I must’ve been like 2 or 3 years old.

This show ended up being a lot more relatable than I expected when I first watched. I'm hispanic rather than black, but I met a LOT of guys that were **exactly** like the 'adults' in this video when I was growing up. Heh.
