Asuras Wrath is a cool game, great fun and well worth a playthrough! The bosses are QTE though which feels a bit random! Never heard of either of those PS1 games!

Great vid, Not a huge metal gear guy myself but that strat guide was a great find! Great price on the PS3 game too.

Old school games were so good because the devs didn’t think they were bloody movie producers. The endless cut scenes, dialogue, complicated back stories and focus on the graphics (although gorgeous) do seem to push the actual game play to the back end. Sadly. I mean, people pay games to … play games don’t they? If they want to see an acted saga they’d go to a movie. Every cut scene should include “skip” I physically want to throw the controller through the tv when forced to endure some 10 min long dribble of a cut scene. Ugggg!!!

What is CXE? Is it like EBay for games? Do individual sellers just send you their stuff? Don’t they show you a photo of each part of the disc and case etc. Or is it a third party that sells on behalf? Surely they check the games before they send it?

Definitely not a nerd, I have excel sheets listing all my consoles, accessories and peripherals etc. Same with games, a list of what I have for each console and what I need. Each console and games etc are in boxes with a contents label stuck on the front. I have also physically labeled each item with what it is and what it’s for. I fear if I drop down dead suddenly, my hubby will just not know what he’s looking at and probably just donate everything. I’m looking at using QR codes to more effectively and efficiently catalogue the contents of boxes though.

I remember my Dad going to a petrol station and buying one for final fantasy 7 because he was stuck. Then he decided to ring one of those guide phone calls you could do... oh boy that didn't help either 😂 Love the collection! Hope you find more soon!

I love Aura's Wrath. It's basically an interactive anime. So it might not be for you if you're into the anime style. It's very OTT and very Japanese. Has action gameplay like early God of War. However, the boss fights are QTE fests. I loved it for its absurdity. Great pick-ups and great video as always, mate.

Asura’s Wrath is a crazy OTT anime game/spectacle, but there are a lot of Cutscenes, QTEs interspersed with God of War/DMC type brawling and even some shooting sections. I must say I’m very disappointed in those box peels ☹️🤣

I think il try to collect a few more ps1 games but something that is inexpensive and not Race/Sports/Fighting Games which is going to be a contradiction since most cheap ps1 games are those type of games these days XD but still a under the radar bangers that scalpers have not gotten their hands on yet.

Nice additions! 007 Racing is average as a game, but the intro is awesome 😂! I'll watch any era of PlayStation collecting, but I play/collect from 8 bit to current gen! PS1 is middle of the road so appeals to most game collectors, but a lot of people interested in PS1 have a healthy interest in the newer models too!

Fair play… but, it’s the old adage if you don’t like to take a risk don’t buy from them online- stick to eBay/vintage. As you say the staff is not always trained and sometimes it’s absolutely crazy the cock ups they can make. But, we all know how it is. On the flip side when trading stuff in everyone bitches and moans when they do not take in stuff that is not💯 If Overblood2 had been more expensive, u would have been happy…🤗 I doubt u would have rushed to pay them the difference-at least u got to take it back 👍 just try not to stress buddy

Charity Shops really are a hidden gold mine, my friend just today told me he was able to get ps4 spider-man, crash team racing remake and a few other game for 1 euro each, which is insane Also curious if you have the PS1 game Vib Ribbon since I've been wanting to get myself a copy of it and it's pretty hard to find at and okayish price. The cool thing about this game is that it takes up very little storage that you're able to take the disc out while its playing and it'll still play, plus if you put a music cd into it it'll make a level for that song. It's a rythym game by the way.

Some great pickups there. There’s some classic comedy dvds you got too, all brilliant series. I remember Are you Being Served and Mrs Slocombe’s pussy 😜. You must have some excellent charity shops near you, the only games that the local charity shops near me have are 15 copies of FIFA and Nintendo Brain Training. I’ve always loved PS consoles so would be interested in seeing your PS3/4 games if you ever did a video on them. Thanks for another great video, but don’t feel you have to keep them short 👍

Ahhhhh the days when a game was 20 quid......not 75.99 for a new title... aaaaa how times have changed..... Are you being served is a good classic. My parents made me watch those things like carry on films. Funny stuff. A lot of it would be frowned upon today but back then it was funny! Not a big fan of Allo Allo either think its late 70s early 80s show. Never really watched it. You get quite a few £ for those charity finds. I should try selling some of my old dvds. I don't watch them anymore so could make a few quid. Even if its a fiver each it's something! Hope all is well and as always great vid, bud 👍

Keeping Up Appearances was a classic back in the day! Used to collect PS3 like mad, but PS1 is where it is at. Trying to get Silent Hill for not stupidly expensive. Regret not picking it up a while back.

I thought the world had gone mad when you mentioned the price of akuji, but checking sold listings on Ebay sanity returned its about a 20 quid game mate, im sure your not daft enough to rely on the just the asking price on ebay ;) I've got a few of the colour variant pads they are pretty cool must admit! nice little subset to go for! I believe they marked the pre owned games (with markers etc) to distinguish them from the new copies (makes sense back then, pain in the wotsit today!)

I think eBay is a lot better than CEX because they always put ugly hard to remove stickers all over their stuff to damage it so it can't be resold for as much. Overall they are the biggest destroyer of games in the UK. Slowly the more games that come to them the more "used" they will become from their handling. But on eBay it's a much better economy because it also means people can trade games with money they get on sales. I basically played my whole run of Nintendo Switch for 75% discount because I bought physicals then sold them. I sold my entire gaming collection on eBay last year, over 25 years of stuff from loads of platforms, I am glad they are more likely to be in good homes than now sticky and scratched from being at CEX at a rip off price.

Never knew Xcom was on Playstation, been gaming for over 30 years, you learn something new everyday👍.
