@@victorbanta Yes, for warranty you have to scan a QR code on the box and register it on Penn website with proof of purchase.

@@piercel.6515 the drag washers are carbon. Felt is used in smaller Stradic FL and FM. The Stradic SW range uses carbon washers.

Hello I am assuming you’re getting your gear from Digitaka… … do you know what the difference is between the 2000 and 2500 size is?

Hi, Yes, I got some of my gears from Digitaka. The obvious difference is 2500 has a bigger spool, than it is depend on what gear ratio you are choosing standard, HG= High Gear or XH Extra high gear. For 2000 size it generally has a letter C infront like C2000SHG, this means the reel size 2000 using a compact body which is the Letter C stands for, and SHG mean Shallow spool with High Gear ratio. Size C2000 and 1000 share the same body, size 2500 and C3000 share the same body and size 4000 and C5000 share the same body as well. Hope this explain everything, if you have any other question let me know.

I got this reel shipped from oversea, so there is no warranty card. It would have a warranty card if I bought it locally in Australia.

@@cristiabc1310 Agreed, so far it has been solid. The only complain that I might have for my reel in particular, the line lay is quite a bit uneven for my reel. It is heavy bottom, and I can’t adjust that.

@@mariofigueroa5391 Yeah, I did try to take it out but the washer is thick, so when I took it off, the line becomes top heavy, so I had to put a thinner spare washer instead.

Weak main shaft 5000xg. A 30lb tarpon bent shaft to were spool pitched and is at a angle using 15 lb braid .Weak fragile reel unfortunately.No problems with my nasci though.

Я тоже взял такую же, люфты в главной паре просто ужасные. Качество в сборке ужасное. Шуршание всей катушки меня раздражает.

@@danielwutfisho Yeah, it is a very smooth reel, I love the look of the reel. However, I would love it even more if Daiwa puts a few more seals in this reel. The only seal I can see is the drag seal, there is no main shaft or handle seal.

What's all the difference between the regular BG and the 2023 SW?

@@robertabrams91 I think the only differences are : BG SW has LC-ABS spool lip, round power handle which is a plus for me, the drag knob is larger which is the same as the one in BG MQ and Saltist MQ. And the gold color on the BG SW is slightly lighter than the regular BG. :)

@@tekadsuhariadi Yeah, it was my first time opening the box and first Twin power sw. I didn’t realise I have to change the thread provided in the box to change it to right hand. Haha I have changed it after the video.
