I met him in night club maybe 30 years ago in NYC where I was working, we talked a little and he seems nice guy, he was there with MTV doing something. What happened to him or that sleezbag Weinstein is basically the same, 30 yeras later accusations that NOW bothers women, not back then..now...of course they each want few million to easy their pain.. these laws need to change asap

The REAL issue and problem was that, throughout the fifteenth century, the kings of many European countries or kingdoms became too powerful. Some would eventually be limited by other factors, like Parliaments or other states intruding on their powers, but that was the state of European affairs the first half of the sixteenth century. What would have happened if Arthur had lived will always remain conjectural.

The actress portraying Catherine has more in common with descriptions of Anne Boleyn. The historical commentary , however, is accurate and insightful.

No not much about this. Would it make sense that in a film industry like this surely you would be in some situations where you new you were or could be in some sort of troubling circumstance s .would be fair to say this happens a lot to nieve people unfortunately..no supporting these types of actions find it hard to believe this did not cross ther minds at any point..

as hard as autocratic, despotic rulers may try to suppress it, the human spirit to create, enjoy, and pass joy from one to the other, cannot be crushed.

I grew up as the eldest son in a home dominated by two parents who ruled every aspect of our lives. So, I got a great part-time job at 15, made money that I hid from them, and then at 17, forged my transit pass to make me seem 18 and rented an apartment downtown. I told them this on a Friday, and also told them I would be moving my own possesions out (which I had carefully purchased and kept hidden in a friend's garage) on the next day, Saturday. My father had a heart attack the next morning which I watched with complete disinterest until the ambulance came, and then l left. And I never spoke to him again for the last thirty years of his life. Children are not chattel.

Chinese 'art'? The earliest objects are clunky and graceless. Modern Chinese expressions such as their architecture are just like their past efforts. Clumsy, chunky, tacky, vulgar and utterly lacking in lyrical spirit. Well, what would you expect after 4,000 years of unrelenting tyranny? A Venus of Knidos? A Mona Lisa? No, the best might be some Mao-era painting of an unhinged girl having a hysterical fit thanks to over-fullfilment of the wheat harvest.

This is an incredibly well made video. The music is so chilling, truly made me think of the fear and mystery everyone felt on the Moorside over the 24 days and during her recovery. Also the scenes presenting Donovan to seem like some sort of uncle that you don't see often, but has that familial essence of the relationship...chilling.

My grandma enjoyed a subscription to National Geographic magazine and she would give them to me when she finished each magazine. My bedroom walls were covered with maps of all kinds that were included in the magazine. I was only a kid about ten years old when I first read of the Terracotta Army. God bless NatGeo.

@susanhuntley9262 China has a history of closed civilization, even into the 20th century. China remains a communist country and ancient history is not something previous governments had been willing to share with the world. We are fortunate that the outlook has changed from political to cultural in areas such as this.

They never get Catherine's colouring correct: she had strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin.
@emilyr3451Күн бұрын
It's irritating! All they'd need to do is look at one of her portraits. Instead, "Oh, she's Spanish, so she must've had dark hair, dark eyes, and olive skin."
