legendia was opened in 1959, it has a lot of old attractions, it was originally there "śląskie wesołe miasteczko" and in 2017 it changed the owner who built the lech coaster, for example, this rollercoaster with 2 loops was built in 1980 and initially stood in England, in 2006 it was transported to legendia then "śląskie wesołe miasteczko" when they transported it, there was communism in Poland and the difficult times of Russian rule. At that time, this park was like an energyland But I have to agree with you, unfortunately it deserves last place. I'm writing this to make you aware

Went Alton Towers the other day Wicker Man is the best wooden coaster I have ever been on. For its pretty small size it delivers such a rush very well structured and made and surprisingly smooth Smiler was my fav ride I always regard it as a mashup between Nemesis and Oblivion because it has that vertical climb which was terrifying because we were on it during a rain storm. I agree though Alton Towers has the potential to be the GOAT if it wanted to be they are always adding new rides and another new ride is coming next year I have heard.

I live in the Middle East and half of what you said is untrue. There are several parks in Yas Island like Sea World, Warner Bros World and Ferrari world that are almost full year round. Real Madrid world will probably pick up in the winter when it’s cooler. As for the labor, the workers are paid a fair wage and it’s usually 3 times more than what they would make in their own countries. As a matter of fact, restaurants in the Middle East pay their employees a higher wage than in the states and workers here don’t have to rely on tips to survive. The only downside is the construction workers that have to work in the heat. Because of that most construction work in the summer is done at night, not during the day. There are fair laws in place to ensure laborers rights aren’t violated.
@Coaster_CriticКүн бұрын
I don't see Real Madrid World picking up too much even considering the season; even if there's a slight uptick in crowds, I doubt it'll be enough to keep the park afloat. And as for the labor, mistreatment of migrant workers in the Middle East is a very real thing. Companies have full control of the workers and often violate contracts by reducing their wages and increasing their hours, all while having control of their immigration status as well.

I'm not interested in coasters "at all" , so most of these rankings are worthless for me :-)
@Coaster_Critic4 күн бұрын
Okay, I’m a coaster channel so that’s kind of what I focus on. But the best parks disregarding coasters would be Europa Park, Efteling, and maybe others like Liseberg and Toverland
@Wig44 күн бұрын
@@Coaster_Critic I understand Efteling, but do not understand Liseberg at all, and both others only for 30%. There are thousands of amusement parks, but only very few story telling theme parks. You seem to come up with only 1 of those. I understand it from your viewpoint, but can we PLEASE stop calling amusement parks , "Theme parks" !?? There is a general abuse of that name which had a meaning... in the past :-) :-) :-)

ranking wickerman and rita as the top 2 coasters at alton towers is baffling to me, for me the smiler is absolutely my favourite, with oblivion at a close second i do agree its coasters are limited though, but it's stuck with very strict planning permissions which severely limits what they're able to build

How on earth can you say the swarm is pretty shitty? Probably the smoothest coaster here in the uk and got some great theming and good forces, that is a super hot take right there, mostly every enthusiast I know over here had that as the best ride in the park before hyperia opened alot of people would of said that and nemesis at Alton towers between them as the top 2 uk rides, how many times you ride it? Because the side you got and seat on that coaster can make a massive difference

Great list the only ones I would change is the Top 5 1 Phantasialand Its a small Theme Park I agree on that but in a way it works its advantage less walking The ride line up is fantastic as well as its Theming (Fly,Taron , Colorado Adventure, Black Mamba , Raik , Winja both of them ) as well as tons of Flat rides Staff are wonderful and the Operations top notch The shows and the displays are fantastic Very clean and tidy and safe Only negative is the Accommodation in around the area for a week its pricey 150 euros a night 2 Energyland Great park huge selection of rides Accommodation is affordable Water Park included The Only negative is the flights to get there also via car quite long outside of Poland 3 Effertiling Great Park for young and old Theming is great Operations top notch Negative not so many coasters 4 Europa Park Good Line of Roller Coasters Huge Park Monorail to get around Plenty of Theming The biggest negative is the Accommodation 200 euros a night anything less ie Campsite terrible not for families 5 Porta Ventura Fantastic line of Rides Huge Park Good Theming The biggest negative is the Operations and the staff to force people to buy Express Pass is extortion Also Alton Towers which I been quite a few times its got worse LIne of Coasters is good but the walking is tiring no Skyride anymore , also the operations are terrible sometimes 2 hrs waiting . The Food and Drink is expensive and the staff are average nice setting in the Forest but I would rank it 19 in Europe

What do you think about the new coaster in holiday park that will open in 2026? They say it will be more compact and so even more intense, but honestly I can't see it being better than rth. It's already much extreme, and it probably will end up being too much for many people, me included. I also think it's the perfect level of intensity, being a mix of everything without (for me) being too much, just perfect. Also, I hate this project, which will steal rth's theme and uniqueness, and this makes me so sad
@Coaster_CriticАй бұрын
I kind of agree with you on the theme making RTH less unique, but if it’s anything like its predecessor, I’m sure the ride as a whole will be amazing

@@Coaster_Critic yes, of course it will be amazing, no doubt. The thing is that CEO of plopsa said it will be more intense so "more spectacular", and I don't think that the more intense the better, I don't want to agree with this statement. explanations for some weaknesses of alton towers rides oblivion was the first dive coaster in the world so its going to be the weakest the smiler was built mostly for record breaking and they didnt focus on smoothness too much its still my favourite as it looks amazing and the world record it has makes it even more amazing rita is really rough and is a weak launch and nemesis might be the best invert in europe due to its landscape use and centerpiece which is nemesis you just couldnt experience it the flat rides do ruin it i agree on that alton towers is mostly a park of worlds firsts and a great atmosphere and history they arent allowed to build above the trees so they are highly limited in their building
