they gave you bots for heroic journey achievement to complete as well as the previous game you lost which is sweaty team cooked up your team in a second or bucky main with 40 kills or black panther main wipe out your team, that's why they gave u bot to practice a bit

Oh 1000% bots. There's so many games that the enemy displays some sort of unnatural behavior. There is definitely times I've played with people that are... let's say worse than bots 😅 but they at least act human lol

Lol I been in a team of these things and let me tell you it sucks. Yesterday I had a 10 hours lose streak because of these things and if I won when a match would load it would lose me into a team that already lost. And on my team and they spawn in just like you showed I hope this game doesn't turn into Team fortress 2

To be fair, I scarlet witch and if someone replayed one of my matches they probably went wtf. Because I had a match where for some reason I lost complete control of my character and she was doing and moving without my action. It was a weird latency. They do have bots but check their profile for privacy. Otherwise one can be confusing a latency issue of mine or a g1-g6 press that goes crazy.

If you are a newbie or lost several matches you'll get bots. Now why do they do this? Player retention. We all know multiplayer games have smurfs pub stomping newbies just for fun. By adding bots in quickplay, the newbie will be assured they'll be able to learn the game without getting a smurf as an opponent.

What you are seeing is errors or shorthand instructions within the replay. As you know, it would take up an immeasurable amount if space to store a video of every match on the Net ease servers so what you actually see is a set of instructions being stored that are used to recreate the match instead. This does save on space but causes anomalies within the replay. Top among these is seemingly aim-bot behaviour where you see a player immediately swing their view around and start shouting a target that was off screen where no player would reasonably be aware of them. The reason why I know it is not an aim-bot cheater though is because they will also swing around and repeatedly miss. You may verify the inaccuracy of these replays by watching ones where players damaged Groot's walls. Instead of just hitting them anywhere the replay has them aim directly at the origin of the nesh at the bottom centre of the wall. Players do not do this but a replay of instructions that simply store what object was hit without storing WHERE the object was hit would.

Also your spectating some controller players which is why it looks so funny when they move

I consistently get really really bad teammates but in over 100 hours there's not been one actual bot in any of my quick match

Can i be honest the game can be boring after 12 hours , the problem is the map's are ugly and heroes are unbalanced the heroes without superpowers for example Punisher can kill people like Spiderman, Hulk,Iron Man without zero diff or skill. I literally played as The Punisher and i got 40 kill's without even trying.

I first noticed it when i played ranked and lost every game. cuz when i played normals me and my friend were mvp all the time. It didn't made sense such a difficulty difference. Then i noticed in those easy normal games a pattern in the player's names it's always SomethingSomething like a first and last name with capital letters. There were too many players using that style of name... But that's all I could tell. Now this video proves it for real.

This makes so much sense, I was in a game as Spider-Man against a Black Widow and Punisher and would only die to them. On every killcam they would have mediocre aim then suddenly 180 snap to me with perfect tracking. I assumed cheaters but they were losing so bad my team basically pushed them into their spawn the whole game so I assumed my team had real players. It's fine maybe having a single bot on each team if the queue is a little long but a whole team of bots or a whole game of bots but you is unacceptable, are they counting their bots as part of their 20 million players or whatever.

as another person that has made a video and argued about this topic bots are one of if not the most annoying thing in my opinion. I have seriously considered uninstalling the game I want it to be known here that netease the studio behind Marvel Rivals is a mobile game dev first and i known for adding bots to their games like Identity V, DBD Mobile and more if you want to go and search for it. I personally don't like soloquing for rank I will play ranked if I have friends online but if not im soloquing qp and I will admit im not that good of a player but im not really trying im watching yt while playing but getting on a 2 game loss streak makes it really likely that you will get into these games. Also nice job on the video and im glad that it's gotten as much attention as it has. I also wanted to add I think if they want bots in quck match just use them to fill leavers that would make leaving in quick match a much smaller issue overall.

On the map with the pit in the middle of the capture point all 11 players aside from myself sat in the pit. I won the fight sitting alone on the point from 0 to 100% and the enemy had zero deaths but wouldnt leave the pit to contest me.

Can I have the bots for comp due to my “teammates” being somehow worse than easy bots. And even when practicing against easy bots I’ve had teammates get rolled by them and give up to afk at spawn. It’s quite sad

Was playing some venom on the klyntar map,and noticed a punisher with some good aim tracking me while on the air while doing my swing,but the guy positioned in dumb ways on his turret (like right in front of the entire enemy team),and kinda realized that either it was 2 things a bot or a cheater with some big problems on his senses,also to point out that also all the enemy team had their careers locked. This video just made my suspicion worse.

AT LEAST LET PLAYERS TOGGLE IT OFF. bots are the only reason i don't like quick play. i thought my teammates were children but this makes sense.

Hot take: I'm ok with bots in quick play. The whole purpose of quick play is to get you in fun matches, and do it fast. If using bots does that, then I think that's fine.

I don't wanna be mean, but the game is pretty simplistic and dull, wouldn't surprise me that they fill it with bots. Specially to get insta games and fast AF queues...

There are people who write scripts to alter the matchmaker to pair them with new people since the game sends them up againts bots. Just an fyi.

NetEase descriptively using bots to manipulate people into playing the game more, that's the major issue. Don't lie to your customers. If it's a bots match, then mark them as such. It's gross that NetEase is letting its players argue about it and not even make a comment on it. I play Rivals a ton, and have spent money, but this is one area that Blizzard could easily swoop in and own NetEase on. All they have to do is comment "We don't match bots in OUR game." Embarrassing for NetEase honestly. I'll probably just stick to Competitive in Rivals now, and QP I can't take seriously at all.

The bots are the idiots that won't stay on the objective or Luna snow, Jeff and C&D players on the front lines dying instead of following tanks and healing.

Only time I noticed bots are plaguing is when I play the Jeff arcade game. Ain't no way they're that fast painting the whole course.

I can confirm this. In the first week of release, me and my friends lost a few quick matches in a row and all of a sudden we got a bot match where we dominated. I knew something was wrong so I went next to the enemies and it took them over 20 seconds to kill me while I was AFK, that was the proof I needed.

Its so they can give you a winrate that is above 50% even if you are bad at the game so that its still fun for you to play and you end up spending money. If you want to play against real people, play Ranked. Quickplay is for quick dopamine you get from winning.

I checked and confirmed for my own games everything in this video and in the comments is true. I got lobbies where the whole enemy team was bots after losing 2 or more times in a row and there were always 2 bots on my team as well. Hidden career profiles on all bots, they walk out of spawn in sync, strange aiming and ability timing. From the matches I could check in my history it seemed like about a quarter of the time I would be put in a bot lobby after losing twice in a row

btw same problem happened to me but the crazy thing is that "PABLO.." was also in my team its like the same bots

Here’s something that I don’t hear people talk about with these bot lobbies. But if you’re losing so many games and not improving getting sent to the bot lobbies is saving their potential teammates from a headache. Games saying “Get back to the bots you’re a detriment to your team”. I think that there’s real game knowledge and improvement that can be made early on in bot lobbies. I don’t care if it’s bots or not idk why people care.

Thankfully i have literally NEVER experienced bots in marvel rivals, im not joking, i never experienced it, my enemies and my teammates do way to crazy shiz to be bots

When you try to view a player's career profile, if it says "restricted", it's a bot. Whilst if it says "private", it's a real player who has set their career profile to private/friends only/teammate only. The game will throw you into a full team of bot enemy game if you lose too many matches. The purpose is to balance out your win to lose ratio so it's 50% or more win. Sometimes the algorithm makes a mistake and you get a 60% win rate which means the algorithm will put you against tougher enemies to make you lose. The above scenario only applies to solo que. If you're playing with a couple of friends, the algorithm will be a little bit different.
