No comments on this thing . I was wondering if this laser can cut forbon the vulcanized fiber that Fender guitar pickups are cut from . I've been using 40 watt CO2 lasers for the past decade but i am interested in one of these . let me know Dan

Hi. What settings are you using? I have a creative falcon 40 w and its first attempt barely etched the surface. I was told to adjust it down and do multiple passes. It looked like it more melted it back creating rough edges and making what was left brittle to just breaking when I tried to pick it up. For clarity, I was trying to do a script name cut out in purple for a little girl as practice before using it for other projects/gifts for a couple clients.

Getting lots of great ideas from these shorts. I love it when they pop up on my feed. As a new laserist I think it would be great if in the comments, or the description you started list materials, speeds and power, which laser you are using, and if it is a free files a link to it would be awesome!

It can be cut, but the edges will be rougher than cut by a co2 laser
