Let’s end this! Black History is American history for sure completely agree. My issue is when black history is dwarfed by white history in America it seems they felt we weren’t focused enough on it so they added a month when we all stop to focus on their history even though it’s still US history. Don’t believe me… in US history you do learn about slaves and the slave trade, the Underground Railroad, Washington and he’s struggles with his Wife owning slaves. We do learn about MLK and Malcom X in US history but when so much of our US history is made by White people then yes out of the whole year you probably did read more about white people. History just is. How dumb is this argument in Any other country.. I really hope someday we realize the people of the past aren’t alive today so look at history for what is was but don’t let old stories good or bad hurt your day. God bless everyone!
