They used electric bass on this album. People didn’t dig that. I think it’s a good record from a great band. I’m gonna say, it’s better than 40 by a mile. I still listen to it regularly.

Damn right, I need pop. It amazes me that this song isn't better known. 40 years on, I remain convinced it was one of the greatest gems of its era/genre, on a par with, say, the much more well-known "Another Girl, Another Planet."

Being 18, independent, cruisin in my 67 Mustang with this group an all the new music out like 2020, Shoes, Beat, Plimsouls, Romantics, Joe Jackson, Rollers (Duncan Faure), Motels etc always was uplifting and put you in a great happy mood. Simpler fun exciting times before Covid

yeah, saving up for a gaming PC. I don't have a current gen console and honestly the console version of the game looks like it'll get old fast for me, can't do half of the tricks I did in the video, so I'm in no rush for now.
