I've been watching some of these shows without sound and commenting on how terrible they are....Blue Devils '23, Vanguard '23....this is actually very good! I could really see/feel the audience connect to the visual and musical components of this group and I don't mind saying that I did too! The artifact constructs while still puzzling to me why they are there at all were not overused and for the most part were causally incorporated into the show in a way that was not overdone. The guard was also very well choreographed...but could really cut back on the splits and head throws that I guess are common these days???? I'm not sure what that is about. Do the guard uniforms need to be a tribute to spandex? It kind clashes with the corps and doesn't really enhance or explain the structures on the field...as the hats on the horns players do. I really liked that the field structures along with the hats gave a strong vibe of WE ARE CAVALIERS...very cool...diluted by the guards running and jumping.. a very buzzy guard...they're like mosquitoes or something... though not as annoying as the 2 corps mentioned above. Overall, really liked this group...was very watchable and kept me wondering what the music sounded like and what they were going to do next! I really enjoyed this group! Thank you! Edit: just watched again with sound...I can't stand it! These kids are so talented!!!! Wow...Just Wow! Thank You!!

I love the stuff where to marimba start glsword fighring with there sticks i love that little stuff but the close up veiw distorts the audio but this a great spot so you can see evertthing thats going on and really get the feel of the battery and horns

Although they are always good, if you watch closely at the M&M you will see the execution is not top notch. Therefore it is very obvious that the judges are biased and give them the top GE scores every year and cheat the more deserving corps.
